UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Loan No. 2 1962, £52,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £52,000 authorised to be raised by the Upper Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the sewer drainage reticulation, the said Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-tenths of a penny in the pound (0·2d. in the pound) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at the ordinary meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council, held in the Council Chambers, Main Road, Upper Hutt, on Tuesday, the 26th day of February 1963.

COUNTY OF KAIRANGA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Kairanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural housing purposes, in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero four six zero five pence (0·04605d.) in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Kairanga, comprising the whole of the County of Kairanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AKAROA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Akaroa Drainage Improvement Loan 1962, £45,000
THAT in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all amendments thereto, the Akaroa County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £45,000 authorised to be raised by the Akaroa County Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of renewing existing sewerage pipes, installing a pumping station, and installing a treatment plant for the full treatment of sewage disposal for the Akaroa County Town the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and decimal two one pence in the pound on the rateable value of all the rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value) comprising the whole of the Akaroa Riding (Akaroa County Town); and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of 30 years, or until the loan is wholly repaid.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Renewal Loan 1963 of £599,100
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five hundred and ninety-nine thousand one hundred pounds (£599,100), to be known as the Wellington City Renewal Loan 1963 of £599,100, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying those portions of various loans which mature during the period 15 May 1963, to 1 February 1964 inclusive, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of three hundred and thirty-four one-thousandths of a penny (0·0334d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of March 1963:

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £218,500 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of providing a water-treatment plant and a new gravity main, roofing of reservoir, alterations to water reticulation, and meeting costs incidental thereto, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of four decimal nought four three (4·043d.) pence in the pound on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Morrinsville; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to be payable yearly on the 30th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Morrinsville Borough Council held on the 26th day of February 1963.

THE POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of a portion (£50,000) of the Extensions Loan 1952 of £150,000, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fifty-fifth of a penny (1/55th) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in that portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power District as is contained in the constituent districts of the Cook County (including the Patutahi Town District), Waikohu County, and the City of Gisborne; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is duly paid up.”

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL
STRIKING OF SECURITY RATE
Office Building Loan 1962
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in its behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Counties Act 1956, and all other powers in that behalf enabling, the Patangata County Council hereby resolve in as follows:
“That, the purpose of providing the principal and interest in other charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Patangata County Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Act 1956 for the purpose of providing an office building and furniture, the said Patangata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·1175 of a penny in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the County of Patangata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
