Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 19th day of February 1963
Present:
THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae site and recreation area for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Tukorehe tribe.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea in the Pahurere Inlet, Manukau Harbour, 1 acre 3 roods of land, more or less, as shown cross-hatched red on plan marked M.D. 11431 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Tauranga Aerodrome Establishment Order 1963.
-
Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Tauranga Borough Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto.
-
The notice, published in the Gazette of 23 March 1939, at page 708, consenting to the acquisition of an aerodrome site by the Tauranga Borough Council, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces or parcels of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing together 288 acres and 12 perches, more or less, being:
(a) All that land containing 1 acre 8 perches and 8/10th of a perch, more or less, being part of Whareroa 2E Number 6A:
(b) All that land containing 1 acre 3 roods 29 perches, more or less, being part of Whareroa 2E Number 6B:
(c) All that land containing 16 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being part of Whareroa 2E Number 7:
(d) All that land containing 22 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part of Whareroa 2F:
(e) All that land containing 2 acres and 33 perches, more or less, being part of Whareroa 2G 1B Number 4:

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 March 1963.

PURSUANT to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred by the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to Selwyn County by revising only those properties on the district valuation roll which lie within the area described in the Local Government Commissionβs final scheme of 19 September 1962 and which are to be included in the County of Ellesmere as, on, and from 1 April 1963.
