Appointment of Honorary Physician to Her Majesty the Queen

His Excellency the Governor-General has communicated that Her Majesty the Queen has been pleased to appoint

Surgeon Captain John MacDonald, Royal New Zealand Navy,

as Honorary Physician on her staff in succession to Surgeon Captain E. S. McPhail, Royal New Zealand Navy (Retired).

Lieutenant Desmond Gordon King is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Corps of Signals, in the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 9 January 1963.

N.Z. ARMY EDUCATION CORPS

Regular Force

The short-service engagement of Lieutenant M. Edwards, B.A., DIP.SOC.SC., is extended from 26 November 1962 until 31 January 1963.

Lieutenant Michael Edwards, B.A., DIP.SOC.SC., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, N.Z. Army Education Corps, in the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 1 March 1963.

Toby Hapimana Rikihana, B.A., is granted a short-service commission for a term of three years in the rank of Lieutenant with seniority from 29 January 1961. Dated 29 January 1963.

Bruce Robert Dunstan is granted a short-service commission for a term of three years in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with seniority from 5 August 1961. Dated 5 February 1963.

ROYAL N.Z. NURSING CORPS

Charge Sister S. A. Monkhouse ceases to be seconded to the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Dated 24 January 1963.

Sister P. J. Miley is seconded for duty to the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Dated 28 January 1963.

Territorial Force

The appointment of Sister (on prob.) H. MacKenzie is confirmed.

Sister H. MacKenzie ceases to be posted to C Coy, 2nd General Hospital, RNZAMC, and resigns her commission. Dated 6 February 1963.

NORTHERN MILITARY DISTRICT TERRITORIAL OFFICERS SPECIAL TRAINING UNIT

Lieutenant Peter Edward Dinniss, RNZ Inf, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Infantry Corps, in the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 4 December 1962.

CENTRAL MILITARY DISTRICT TERRITORIAL OFFICERS SPECIAL TRAINING UNIT

Lieutenant Ian Bishop Anderson, RNZAC, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Armoured Corps, in the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 17 January 1963.
