Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of the Northcote-Albany Motorway in Blocks III, IV,
VIII, and XII, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of July 1956, and published in the Gazette, 12 July 1956, Volume II, page 915, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 15068, defining the middle line of Northcote-Albany Motorway in Blocks III, IV, VIII, and XII, Waitemata Survey District, in so far as it affects part Auckland Harbour (C.T. 355/147); Lots 83, 89, 88, 87, and 86, D.P. 21894 (Proclamation 12892); Lots 85, 84, and 74, D.P. 21894 (Proclamation 13398); part Auckland Harbour (C.T. 355/147); Lot 14, D.P. 4553 (C.T. 198/269); Lot 8, D.P. 10377 (C.T. 330/242); Lots 7, 10, and 11, D.P. 10377 (C.T. 1014/288); Lot 16, D.P. 4553 (C.T. 801/184); Lot 1, D.P. 31225 (C.T. 564/169), and including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the North Auckland Land District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150405 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of February 1963.

Altering the Boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District comprising portion of the Eltham County bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 4, Block VII, Omoana Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 4 and 21, Block VII, aforesaid, to Karewa Road; thence again easterly along a right line across that road to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 4, and 3, Block VIII, Omoana Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the eastern side of the Moeawatea Road; thence generally southerly along the eastern side of that road to Koane Road; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern side of Koane Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of part Section 5, Block XVI, Omoana Survey District; thence to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of that section and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Lower Moeawatea Road; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that road to a point opposite the southern-most corner of Section 3, Block XVI, Omoana Survey District; thence to and along the south-western and western boundaries of that section and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Epero Road; thence westerly generally along the middle of that road to Pine Stream; thence northerly up that stream to and along the western boundaries of Subdivision 2 of Section 2, Block XV, and Section 2, Block XI, Omoana Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Whenua-kura River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 10, Block XI, Omoana Survey District; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of that section and the western boundary of Section 4, Block VII, Omoana Survey District, to the north-western corner of that section being the point of commencement.
As the said area is shown outlined in blue on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 604 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of March 1963.

Declaring Land, Southland Land District, as a Wildlife Refuge
in the Southland Acclimatisation District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area containing 298 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Sections 13, 14, and 25, Block V, Mabel Hundred, and also parts of Section 1, Block II, Forest Hill Hundred, cut off by and south-east of a channel straightening the Makarewa River; parts of certificate of title, Volume 128, folio 138, and Volume 133, folio 24. Also the old bed of the Makarewa River cut off by the said channel and adjoining the aforesaid parts of Section 1; as shown on plan No. 46/29/385 and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Rotorua High School Board by Her Majesty the Queen for a term of 21 years from the 1st day of January 1958, the leasehold estate in the land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.
