RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1962
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other Acts in that behalf enabling, the Wallace County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, to be known as the Housing Loan 1962, authorised to be raised by the Wallace County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing workers’ dwellings for occupation by workers employed by the Council, the said Wallace County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0094d. in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Wallace; and that such special rate shall be annually recurring during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan and until the loan is fully paid off.”

CITY OF AUCKLAND

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of six hundred and seven thousand pounds (£607,000), to be known as the Works Depot Loan 1960, £607,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting a new works depot, together with ancillary buildings and equipment and the necessary site development, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and one-half of a penny (1½d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1962, £3,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairere Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £3,000 known as the Housing Loan 1962 and authorised to be raised by the Wairere Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a staff house, the said Wairere Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny (0·1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Wairere Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Wairere Electric Power Board held on Thursday, 20 December 1962.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Heretaunga Sewerage Loan 1962, £22,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the reticulation for sewerage of that portion of the Heretaunga district included in Special Rating Area No. 63, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2·514d. in the pound (two pence and five hundred and fourteen one-thousandths of one penny in the pound) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 63 Special Rating Area of the Heretaunga Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Water Supply Improvement Loan 1962
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Murupara Borough Council, held on the 18th day of December 1962, the following resolution was passed:
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Murupara Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Water Supply Improvement Loan 1962, £7,100, authorised to be raised by the Murupara Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing additional water storage reservoirs, the said Murupara Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nought three of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value, (based on the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Borough of Murupara, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 8th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Redemption Loan (No. 1) 1963, £40,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board, held on the 13th day of February 1963, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £40,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Reticulation Extension Loan 1952, £100,000, which matures on the 1st day of May 1963, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of three one-hundredths of a penny (3/100d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Plant Loan 1962, £7,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £7,500 authorised to be raised by the Huntly Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for purchasing vehicles and plant, the said Huntly Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal five three pence (0·53d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Huntly; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of seven years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
