above-mentioned Act for pensioners' housing, the said Kaiapoi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two one three pence (0·213d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Kaiapoi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of September in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty years (30), or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Kaiapoi Borough Council held on Monday, 17 December 1962.

TAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £30,000 authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out further street upgrading and footpaths formation, the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0'5d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Tawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridge Replacement Loan 1962, £21,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Blenheim Borough Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
"That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-one thousand pounds (£21,000) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of constructing a new bridge across the Taylor River at Hutcheson Street, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and seventy-five one-thousandths of a penny (0·175d.) in the pound (£) on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan."

WARKWORTH TOWN COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Reticulation Loan 1962, £11,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loan Act 1956, the Warkworth Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eleven thousand two hundred pounds (£11,200) authorised to be raised by the Warkworth Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of replacing and extending water mains, providing a bore pumping electrical control system, utilising reservoirs for water, settling and incorporating a new direct feed main between the two groups of reservoirs, the said Warkworth Town Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal eight pence (0'8d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Town District of Warkworth; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Warkworth Town Council held on the 24th day of December 1962.

HUTT VALLEY ELECTRIC POWER AND GAS BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Loan No. 29, 1963 Redemption—£121,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £121,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming £35,500 of Building Loan 1950 (Loan No. 10) and £85,500 of Loan No. 11, 1951, the said Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and twenty-five thousandths (0·125) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Hutt Valley Electric Power District, comprising the Boroughs of Eastbourne, Petone, Porirua, Upper Hutt, and Tawa; the City of Lower Hutt; part of the City of Wellington; part of the Hutt County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL ORDER
PURSUANT to section 47 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Coromandel County Council doth hereby resolve:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a dwelling for use as a worker's accommodation, the said Coromandel County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven five (0'075) pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Coromandel; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan to be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
"THAT at this special meeting of the Hawea Rabbit Board, held on 17 July 1962, it is resolved to make a special rate of 0·793d. per acre upon all the rateable property in the district of the Board as security for a special housing loan of £4,500 for the purposes of building and/or acquiring houses for the accommodation of employees. Such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate and will remain in force during the currency of the said loan, namely, 20 years."

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the above loan of £121,000 authorised to be raised by the Ashburton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of reticulating part of the Borough with sewerage, the Ashburton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of £0'004958 in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Ashburton; and that the special rate shall be the only recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
