WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Takapau County Town Loan No. 3, 1962, of £5,000—
First Instalment of £2,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two thousand pounds authorised to be raised by the Waipawa County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of sealing roads, constructing kerb and channelling, and constructing and sealing footpaths within the County Town of Takapau, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes a special rate of sixty-nine ten-thousandths (0·0069) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Waipawa; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RUNANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Runanga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,750 authorised to be raised by the Runanga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new Council Chamber and office, the said Runanga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of threepence in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Runanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work and severance the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by and who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from 19 December 1962, being the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956, the Counties Amendment Act 1961, and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the formation of a public road, viz: A limited access approach road to the Mangere Airport, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken as aforesaid is deposited at the Mangere Bridge Post Office, 139 Coronation Road, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during all reasonable hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk of the Manukau County Council at the office of the said Council on the corner of Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland.

TE PUKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, by the Body Corporate known as the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Te Puke that it intends to take as and for a public street all that piece of land containing 1 rood 12·4 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 31 on Deposited Plan 8178, and being part Section 63, Block II, Maketu Survey District, and being the residue of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 363, folio 218, Auckland Registry.

The plan of the said land has been deposited at the office of the Te Puke Borough Council at Jellicoe Street, Te Puke, and is available for inspection at all reasonable times during normal office hours.

All interested or affected persons are hereby requested and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land and the executing of the public works, and to send such writing to the Clerk of the Te Puke Borough Council aforesaid within 40 days from the 19th day of October 1962, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes, under the provision of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portion of land described in the Schedule hereto.

A plan of the portion of land proposed to be taken is open for public inspection at the office of the Raglan County Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, during the 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 31st day of January 1963.
