CITY OF AUCKLAND
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of forty-two thousand six hundred pounds (£42,600) to be known as the Day Street Parking Building Loan 1962, £42,600, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting a car parking building in Day Street, Newton, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth of one penny (1/14 of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL
SECURITY RATE
Water Supply Loan 1962, £20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a high-pressure water supply scheme in the Burwood Road area of the County, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·238132d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area comprising the whole of the Marshland Riding of the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WYNDHAM TOWN COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Wyndham Town District, taken on the 17th day of November 1962, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £20,000 to be known as the Memorial Hall Loan 1962 for the purpose of erecting a memorial hall at Wyndham resulted as follows:

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a road passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated in Titirangi Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and are open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons having any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Manawatu County Council intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of housing. A plan of the said land is deposited at the public office of the Manawatu County Council at Sanson and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Manawatu County Council.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to stop the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928; a plan of the roads proposed to be stopped lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 26th day of January 1963.
