SOUTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan 1962, £72,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the South Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy-two thousand pounds (£72,000) authorised to be raised by the South Canterbury Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Electricity Development Loan 1952, £80,000, and the Rural Reticulation Loan 1953, £140,000, which mature on 1 March 1963, the said South Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of forty-two thousandths of one penny (0·042d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property within the South Canterbury Electric Power District, as defined in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated 23 August 1957, and published in the Gazette on 29 August 1957 at page 1575; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of nine years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Building Loan 1962, £75,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board, held on the 22nd day of November 1962, the following resolution was passed.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £75,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of assisting to finance the construction of a proposed new administrative building, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of seven two-hundredths of a penny (7/200th d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

HAURAKI CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Piako River Scheme Loan 1962, £320,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Hauraki Catchment Board, held on 29 November 1962, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hauraki Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £320,000 authorised to be raised by the Hauraki Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the Piako River Improvement Scheme, the said Hauraki Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate, on the acreage system of rating and on a graduated scale, of the following amounts for each acre—

upon the rateable property of the Piako River Scheme Rating District, defined on the classification map for the Piako River Improvement Scheme Classification and numbered Drawing No. 402, according to the classification adopted by the Board on the 29th day of November 1962; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 32 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

POVERTY BAY CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Plant Loan 1962, £7,100
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,100 authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchase of motor vehicles, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought six four pence (0·0064d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property within the Poverty Bay Catchment District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was duly passed by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board at a meeting held on 28 November 1962.

Workers' Dwellings Loan 1962, £10,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of construction of workers' dwellings and other facilities at Ruatoria, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three four pence (0·0034d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property within the Poverty Bay Catchment District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was duly passed by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board at a meeting held on 28 November 1962.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Road Sealing Loan 1961, £4,000
THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000) authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the county's share of the cost of reconstructing and sealing the Kawakawa - Paihia - Black Bridge Road, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·125 pence (point one two five pence) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Bay of Islands; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Bay of Islands was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Bay of Islands County Council in the presence of—
