Declaring Land, Canterbury Land District, as a Wildlife Refuge in the Waimate Acclimatisation District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT-WAIMATE COUNTY
PART Rural Section 28372, situated in Block XIII, Haka-taramea Survey District: Area, 16 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 107, folio 68 (shown as Lots 2 to 40, D.P. 742, and right of way). As shown on plan marked I.A. 52/529 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and there-on edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of November 1962.

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the purchase by the Thames Valley Electric Power Board from the New Zealand Electricity Department of the electric works described in the Schedule hereto for the sum of £1,005.
SCHEDULE
PORTION of the 50,000-volt transmission line between the Lichfield substation of the New Zealand Electricity Depart-ment in the Matamata County and the Department's Edge-cumbe substation in the Whakatane County, the said portion of the line located within the Matamata County extending for 6·70 miles between poles number 140 and 221 inclusive together with all poles, towers, and associated equipment.

Authorising Raynor John Neville Pilbrow, Bus Proprietor, of Tokerau Beach, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Mangonui

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Raynor John Neville Pilbrow, bus proprietor, of Tokerau Beach (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth; to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1983.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's powerhouse and proceeding in a south-easterly direction across Whatuiwhiwhi Road to the licensee's house, all being situated in Block IV, Kari Kari Survey District, in the County of Mangonui, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 590 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Authorising the Purchase by the Waimea Electric Power Board of Certain Electric Works from the Murchison County Council

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the purchase by the Waimea Electric Power Board from the Murchison County Council of the electric works described in the Schedule hereto upon the terms contained in a draft agreement approved by the Minister of Electricity on the 31st day of October 1962, made between the Electric Power Board and the County Council.
SCHEDULE
THE generating works on the Maruia River and Six Mile Creek in the County of Murchison and the electric lines, reticulation, and associated equipment, the property of the Murchison County Council, now used for the supply of electricity to consumers within the area of supply of the said County Council.
