A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby pro-
claim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Proclaimed as Road
ALL those pieces of land described as follows:

1 1 8·6 Part Lot 8, D.P. 154, being part Section 1, Block
XII, Aroha Survey District.
1 1 10·7 Part Lot 9, D.P. 154, being part Section 1, Block
XII, Aroha Survey District.
3 1 12 Part Section 1, Block XII, Aroha Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 6690 (S.O. 35978) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
sepia.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Road Closed
ALL that piece of road containing 2 acres 16·5 perches adjoin-
ing or passing through Lot 2 and part Lots 8 and 9, D.P. 154,
being part Section 1, Block XII, Aroha Survey District; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 6690 (S.O. 35978) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 28th day of November 1962.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as
closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of road containing 2 acres, 3 roods situated
in Block III, Ngaruroro Survey District, Hawke's Bay County,
Hawke's Bay R.D., and adjoining or passing through Pastoral
Runs 20 and 21, Crown land, and part bed Omahaki Stream;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 6692 (S.O. 3535) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Blocks X, XI, and XV,
Clutha Survey District, and Block V, South Molyneux
Survey District, viz., a Deviation of the Balclutha-Invercargill
State Highway No. 92

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of
a road desired to be constructed over Blocks X, XI, and XV,
Clutha Survey District, and Block V, South Molyneux Survey
District, viz., a deviation of the Balclutha-Invercargill State
Highway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule
hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect
only the lands situated within the limits of the area shown
edged red on the plan marked M.O.W. 6729 (S.O. 13292)
referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
COMMENCING on the middle line of No. 92 State Highway
where it crosses the common boundary of Sections 1 and 3,
Block XV, Clutha Survey District, and proceeding thence in
a south-easterly and south-westerly direction generally for a
distance of approximately 1 mile 62 chains and passing in,
into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz., parts of
Section 1 and part closed road, Block XV; part Section 2,
Block XI; parts Sections 13, 12, 10, and 8; Railway land
being part Section 8; parts Sections 7, 5, 3, and parts of parts
Sections 4, 2, and 1, and 533R, Block X; parts Sections 2 and
533R (D.P. 3150), Block X, Clutha Survey District, and parts
Sections 1 and 2 (D.P. 3150), Block V, South Molyneux
Survey District; parts Section 2, Block V, South Molyneux
Survey District; and terminating at a point on the northern
side of the Port Molyneux-Romahapa Road, 4 chains approxi-
mately north-westerly from the south-eastern boundary of
part Section 2, Block V, South Molyneux Survey District;
including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and water courses; as
the same is delineated on M.O.W. 6729 (S.O. 13292) deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of the Kauroa-Kawhia
Main Road

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the works executed on the land described in the Schedule
hereto to alter or divert the Kauri Stream have been executed
for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Kauroa-Kawhia
main road, and such works shall for all purposes be taken
and deemed to have been executed under the authority of
the Public Works Act 1928.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 10·5 perches situated in
Block VI, Karioi Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part
Lot 2, D.P. 11514, being part Allotment 50, Whaingaroa
Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked M.O.W. 6689 (S.O. 40906) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
yellow, edged yellow.

Declaring Lands in Canterbury Land District Vested in the
Canterbury Education Board as Sites for Public Schools to
be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being
areas vested in the Canterbury Education Board as sites for
public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed
and discharged from every educational trust affecting the
same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or ease-
ments affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
Lot 1, D.P. 22410, being part Rural Section 147, situated in
the City of Christchurch: Area, 0·2 perches, more or less.
Part certificate of title, Volume 689, folio 1.

Survey District: Area, 5·4 perches, more or less. Balance

Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.
