Declaring Land in South Auckland and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lot 1, D.P. 33414, being part Kinohaku West T, Section 2f No. 1, situated in Block VI, Marokopa Survey District: Area, 36·6 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 872, folio 76.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

Amending Declaration of Land, West Coast Acclimatisation District, as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation published in the Gazette of 22 August 1957, No. 61, at page 1542, declaring a wildlife refuge within the West Coast Acclimatisation District, by revoking the said Proclamation in so far as it prohibits or restricts the use of boats within the wildlife refuge.
