SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts, including Matakaoa County, Borough of Opotiki, and parts of Opotiki and Waikohu Counties, bounded by a line commencing at a point named Ngatawakawaka on the sea coast, being the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XVI, East Cape Survey District, also being a point on the boundary of the Waiapu County as described in Gazette, 1925, page 2608, and also referred to in Gazette, 1945, page 303, as a point on the boundary of the Poverty Bay Catchment District, and proceeding generally north-westerly and then south-westerly along the sea coast to a point at the entrance to Ohiwa Harbour, in Block I, Opotiki Survey District, being a point due east of the eastern extremity of the Ohope Land Spit; thence due west across the entrance of Ohiwa Harbour to the extremity of the said Spit; thence due south along a right line for a distance of 500 links and due south-west along a right line to its intersection with the production easterly of another right line between the southernmost extremity of Lot 1, D.P.S. 497 (AK.), in Block VI, Whakatane Survey District (Ohakana Island), and a point 100 links due north of the northern extremity of Allotment 284, Waimana Parish (Uretara Island); thence westerly generally along the last-mentioned right line to the southernmost extremity of Lot 1, D.P. S. 497 (AK.), aforesaid, and along another right line to a point 1,000 links distant from and due west of the northern extremity of Allotment 127, Waimana Parish (Whitiwhiti Point); thence south-westerly along another right line to a point being the intersection of the line of mean high water mark along the shores of the Ohiwa Harbour aforesaid with the northern boundary of that part Lot 2, D.P. 12843 (AK.), bounded on the south-west by Wainui Road and along that northern boundary and its production across Wainui Road to its western side; thence southerly generally along the western and south-western sides of that road, to and along the western side of State Highway No. 2 and of Bell Road to the south-eastern corner of Allotment 223, Waimana Parish, shown on D.P. 4734 (AK.) in Block IV, Waimana Survey District; thence south-easterly and southwesterly generally along a right line across Bell Road to and along the southern boundaries of Allotments 268 and 269, Waiotahi Parish, to and across a public road to the north-western corner of Section 2, Block IV Waimana Survey District, to and along the western boundary of said Section 2, to and across a public road, along the western boundaries of Sections 3 and part Section 1 of the said Block IV, and of Section 1, Block VIII, Waimana Survey District, to and across a public road, again along the western boundaries of said Section 1 and of Lots 1 and 2 of Section 2, Block VIII, aforesaid, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence easterly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 2 to its south-eastern corner, being also a point on the watershed between the Whakatane and Waioeka Rivers; thence southerly generally along that watershed to its junction in Block I, Koranga West Survey District, with the watershed between the Waioeka and Motu Rivers to the north and the Wairoa River to the south; thence easterly generally along the last-mentioned watershed to Maungatapere No. 2 Trig. Station situated in Block V, Ngatapa Survey District; thence due east by a right line to the western boundary of Section 3, Block II, Ngatapa Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the western boundary of said Section 3, to and across the Koranga Road, along the north-western and northern boundaries of said section 3, to and across Dome Road, again along the northern boundary of said Section 3, to and along the western boundary of part Section 1, Block II, Ngatapa Survey District, to and along the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block XIV, Motu Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 4 of the said Block XIV, along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 3, Block X, Motu Survey District, along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 3 and of part Section 2, Block XI, Motu Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across State Highway No. 2 to its eastern side, along the said eastern side and its production to and across the Gisborne Moutohora Railway, along the eastern side of the said railway, to and along the eastern side of State Highway No. 2 to the southernmost corner of part Section 5, Block XI, Motu Survey District, along the south-eastern boundary of said part Section 5, to and along the western boundaries of Sections 2 and 3 of the said Block XI and of Section 3 and Lot 2 of Section 10, Block VII, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned Lot, along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 2 of Section 10 and its production across Whakarau Road to its eastern side, along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station F in Block VIII, Motu Survey District, to and across a public road to its eastern side and continuing along the said right line to said Trig. Station F, along the north-western boundaries of parts Lot 8, D.P. 1387, to Trig. Station 141 (Maungahaumi) in Block I, Mangatu Survey District, along the north-western boundary of part Subdivision 10 (D.P. 1289) of Mangatu No. 1 Block, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 21, D.P. 1516, to the western boundary of Lot 16, D.P. 1238, along the western and north-western boundaries of said Lot 16 and of Part Lot 13 and Lot 14, D.P. 1212, Lot 18, D.P. 1293, Lot 2, D.P. 1439, part Lot 1 D.P. 1438, Lot 2, D.P. 3525, part Lot 2, D.P. 3171 the north-western and northern boundaries of part Mangatu 2L Block and Lot 1, D.P. 3525, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot, along a right line to Arowhana Trig. Station, situated in Block IV, Arowhana Survey District, along a right line to Kapua Trig. Station situated in Block V, Hikurangi Survey District, along a right line to Honokawa Trig. Station in Block X, Raukumara East Survey District, along a right line to Pakira Trig. Station situated in Block VIII, Raukumara East Survey District thence easterly generally along the northern boundaries of Raparapaririki No. 3 and Waiorongomai Blocks, the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block VI, Mangaoparo Survey District, and its production to the middle of the Taurangakautuku River, down the middle of the said river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, aforesaid, to and along that boundary, to and along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block VII, Mangaoparo Survey District, to and along the northern boundary of Section 4, Block VIII, Mangaoparo Survey District, and the western boundary of Section 5, Block VIII, aforesaid, along the south-western and northwestern boundaries of Wharikirauponga No. 4 Block to the southernmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 2745, along the south-western boundary of said Lot 4 and its production to the middle of the Oturangi Stream, down the middle of the said stream, to and up the middle of the Maraehara River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Whakaangiangi 2B 4 Block, to and along that boundary, the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 4 and 3, Block IV, Mangaoparo Survey District, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 2745, and the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 2745, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Maraehara River, down the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of the Te Puni Stream, up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Pukerangiora No. 2 Block, to and along that boundary and the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Section 3, Block I, Waiapu Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Maraehara River, down the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Marangairoa 2B 2 Block, to and along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Marangairoa 2B 2, 2B 1, and 2A Blocks, the north-eastern boundary of Lot 11, D.P. 2211, the north-western boundaries of Lot 12, D.P. 2211, and of Lot 6 D.P. 2209, to and along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 2209, to the northernmost corner of Marangairoa 1C 1B Block, in Block XV, East Cape Survey District, along the north-eastern boundary of said 1C 1B, to and along the north-western and northern boundaries of Marangairoa 1C 6A, the north-eastern boundaries of Marangairoa 1C 6B, 1C 6C 2, and part 1C 6D and the production of the last-mentioned boundary, to and across a public road to its eastern side, along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI, East Cape Survey District, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto as Maori reservations for the purposes set out opposite each block respectively.
