vening Rangitanuku Road and that boundary produced to
the middle of the Waihou River; thence down the middle of
that river, to and south-westerly up the middle of the Oraka
Stream, to and along the middle of Langlands Road, to and
north-westerly generally along the middle of State Highway
No. 27 and the middle of Totmans Road crossing the Auckland-
Rotorua Railway, to and south-westerly along the middle of
State Highway No. 29 and the middle of State Highway
No. 1 to a point in line with the south-eastern
boundary of Section 76, Block XVI, Cambridge Survey Dis-
trict (Roadmans Cottage, Gazette, 1945, page 1552); thence
along a right line, to and along the said boundary and its
production to and down the middle of the Piarere Stream,
to and westerly down the middle of the Waikato River (Kara-
piro Lake), to a point in line with the western boundary of
Lot 2, D.P. 36274, in Block XV, Cambridge Survey District;
thence generally northerly along a right line crossing the said
State Highway No. 1, to and along that western boundary of
the aforesaid Lot 2 and part Lot 1, D.P. 28925, to and along
the western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 3300, and along a
right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced, to the
middle of Taotaoroa Road; thence along the middle of that
road, the middle of Todds Road, and the middle of Buckland
Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of
Section 9, Block XI, Cambridge Survey District; thence along
a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section
9 aforesaid, the north-eastern end of a public road, the north-
eastern boundary of Lot 3 of Allotment 2 of Section 2 and
Section 8, Block XI, Cambridge Survey District, to and north-
easterly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of parts
Hinuera 2 Block, along the western, southern, and eastern
boundaries of Lot 9A, D.P. 2757, to a point in line with the
south-eastern boundary of part Lot 42, D.P. 2756; thence
along a right line to and along that last-mentioned boundary,
along the generally southern and eastern boundaries of Section
4, to and westerly along the perpendicular of 5,250 chains
south in the Mount Eden Meridional Circuit, to and along
the western boundary of Section 7, Block IV, Cambridge
Survey District, to and along the south-eastern, south-western
and western boundaries of Section 5, Block III, aforesaid,
and along the eastern boundaries of Kiwitahi 1D 1 and 1D 2
Blocks; thence along the eastern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1,
D.P. 23088, in Block XV, Maungakawa Survey District, along
the eastern boundary of part Kiwitahi 1A Block, shown on
D.P. 21756, and that boundary produced across Sections 8,
7, a public road, and Section 5, all the said sections being
of Block XV aforesaid, to and down the middle of the Piako-
nui Stream to the middle of the Tahuna-Waharoa road in
Block XVI, Maungakawa Survey District; thence generally
north-easterly along the said road, crossing the Auckland-
Rotorua Railway, to and northerly along the middle of State
Highway No. 27 and the middle of the Waitoa-Ngarua Main
Road to the point of commencement.

At the Government House at Wellington this 10th day

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the East Waikato Rabbit
    District Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the East Waikato Rabbit District,
    which was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day
    of July 1959, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from
    the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said
    district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    BOUNDARIES OF THE EAST WAIKATO RABBIT DISTRICT
    All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Mata-
    mata County and Putaruru Borough, containing 185,300 acres,
    more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the junction
    of the middle of the Waikato River (Karapiro Lake) and the
    production south-westerly of the south-eastern boundary of
    part Lot VI, D.P. 3300, situated in Block XVI, Cambridge
    Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly up the
    middle of the said river, to and up the middle of the Piarere
    Stream to the intersection of the south-westerly production
    of the south-eastern boundary of Section 76, Block XVI,
    aforesaid (Roadmans Cottage, Gazette, 1945, page 1552);
    and along a right line to and along the said south-eastern
    boundary and its production to and generally easterly along
    the middle of State Highway No. 1, State Highway No. 29,
    Totmans Road, the Rotorua Branch Railway, the Waiomou
    Main Road, down the middle of the Oraka Stream, and up
    the middle of the Waihou River to a point in line with the
    northern boundary of part Rangitanuku 1A, situated in Block
    XI, Tapapa Survey District; thence again easterly along a
    right line, to and along the aforesaid northern boundary
    crossing the intervening Rangitanuku Road, to and along the
    western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 13337, and the
    southern boundary of the said Lot 2, and along the last-
    mentioned southern boundary produced to and along the
    middes of Te Poi Road, Raparapa Road, State Highway No.
    29, and the public road forming the south-eastern boundary
    of Section 60, Selwyn Settlement, to the north-eastern boun-
    dary of the Matamata County; thence south-easterly along
    that north-eastern boundary as described in Gazette, 1950,
    page 277, to the easternmost corner of Section 123; thence gener-
    ally westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 123,
    the generally southern boundaries of Sections 124, 125, and
    126 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section,
    all the aforementioned sections being of Selwyn Settlement;
    thence due west to the eastern boundary of Block XII, Tapapa
    Survey District; thence southerly generally along the eastern
    boundaries of the Tapapa and Patetere North Survey Districts,
    along the generally north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries
    of Section 166, to and along the north-western boundaries of
    Sections 76 and 77A, along a right line being the last-mentioned
    boundary produced across State Highway No. 5, to and along
    the southern side of that highway and along the generally
    western boundaries of Section 77, part Section 1, and again
    southerly along the eastern boundary of Patetere North
    Survey District, to and easterly and southerly along the
    northern and eastern boundaries of Whaitikuranui part 1A 5,
    Part N 1A (Scenic Reserve, Gazette, 1907, page 2303), along
    a right line crossing the Rotorua Branch Railway, and con-
    tinuing along the eastern boundaries of Whaitikuranui part N
    1A, and part 1BY (Scenic Reserve, Gazette, 1907, page 2303)
    to the south-western corner of Section 2, Block VIII, Patetere
    North-east Survey District; thence easterly generally along the
    southern boundary of the said section, along the western and
    southern boundaries of Section 10, Block XIII, Rotorua Survey
    District, along the western boundary of Section 2, Block I,
    Horohoro Survey District, along that boundary produced
    across a public road which forms the northern boundary of
    Section 8, Block I, Horohoro Survey District, to and along
    the southern side of that public road to the eastern boundary
    of the Matamata County as described in Gazette, 1950, page
    277, and southerly along that boundary to the middle of the
    Mokaihaha Stream; thence generally westerly down the middle
    of that stream, down the middle of the Opakau Stream, to
    and northerly along the eastern boundary of Te Ranga No. 2,
    and that boundary produced to the middle of the Whakapiwai
    Stream; thence down the middle of that stream and the Ngutu-
    wera Stream, to and southerly along the middle of the Te
    Rere Road to the middle of State Highway No. 1 in Block
    III, Patetere South Survey District; thence again westerly
    generally along the middle of the aforesaid highway, to and
    along the middle of the Wiltsdown Road to a point in line
    with the western boundary of Waotu South No. 14 in Block
    I, Patetere South Survey District; thence southerly along the
    said western boundary, to and westerly, southerly, and easterly
    along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of part
    Lot 1, D.P. 22069, to and southerly and westerly generally
    along the eastern and southern boundaries of parts Matanuku
    No. 3 comprised in certificates of title, Volume 47, folios 216
    and 217, to and southerly along the western boundary of Lot
    1, D.P. 21949, to and westerly along the northern boundaries
    of parts Matanuku 2B 2, 2F 2, 2G 2, and 2E 2 shown on D.P.
    21718, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the
    middle of the Waikato River (Arapuni Lake) in Block VIII,
    Wharepapa Survey District; thence northerly generally down
    the middle of the Arapuni Lake, Waikato River, and Karapiro
    Lake to the point of commencement.
