ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 10th day of October 1962
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Tokoroa Rabbit District Order 1962.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Tokoroa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 29th day of July 1959,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TOKOROA RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area in the South Auckland Land District in the Matamata County containing 188,300 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the middle of the Waikato River (Arapuni Lake) with the production westerly of the northern boundary of part Matanuku 2E 2 shown on D.P. 21718 in Block VIII, Wharepapa Survey District, and proceeding easterly generally along the southern boundary of the East Waikato Rabbit District as hereinbefore described to the eastern boundary of the Matamata County as described in Gazette, 1950, page 277, in Block V, Horohoro Survey District; thence southerly generally along the aforesaid county boundary to its intersection in Block III, Atiamuri Survey District, with a right line joining a point bearing 21° 17' 30" distant, 2,828·4 links from the northernmost corner of Lot 6, D.P. S. 1533, and peg XXIV, shown on S.O. 31518, at the junction of the Old Putaruru Road and State Highway No. 1; thence westerly along the aforesaid right line to the said peg XXIV and again southerly along another right line to the angle in the south-western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 12322, bearing 311° 23' 45" distant 2362·4 links from the western side of the aforesaid State highway; thence along the aforementioned south-western boundary to and southerly along the western side of the aforesaid State highway; to the middle of the Waikato River in Block VI, Atiamuri Survey District; thence westerly and northerly generally along the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

(1) This order may be cited as the Kahoroa Rabbit District Order 1962.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Kahoroa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 28th day of March 1956,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE KAHOROA RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area in the South Auckland Land District in the Tauranga, Rotorua, and Matamata Counties, and the Borough of Rotorua, containing 174,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing on the right bank of the Kaituna River due east of the middle of the mouth of the Mangorewa River in Block VII, Maketu Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along the right bank of the Kaituna River, to and along the shore of Lake Rotoiti, the north-western bank of the Ohau Channel, the northern and western shores of Lake Rotorua, to and westerly generally up the middle of the Utuhina Stream to its source in Block VI, Horohoro Survey
District; thence along a right line to the source of the Tikitiki Stream; thence still westerly generally down the middle of the Tikitiki Stream to the eastern boundary of the Matamata County as described in Gazette, 1950, page 277; thence north-westerly generally along that eastern boundary, to and along the north-eastern boundary of the East Waikato Rabbit District as hereinbefore described, to the south-western corner of Block IV, Tapapa East Survey District; thence easterly generally along the southern boundaries of Blocks IV, V, VI, and VII, Tapapa East Survey District, to and along the western boundary of Section 3, Block II, Rotorua Survey District, to and down the middle of the Ohaupara Stream to its junction with the middle of the Mangorewa River; thence generally north-easterly down the middle of the Mangorewa River to its mouth on the Kaituna River; thence along a right line to the point of commencement.

The boundaries of the Matamata Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of February 1961,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MATAMATA RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Counties of Piako and Matamata, and the Boroughs of Te Aroha and Matamata, containing 216,200 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the middle of State Highway No. 26 and the middle of the Waitoa-Ngarua Main Road in Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the middle of the said highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 88, Block IX, Aroha Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the generally western, northern, and eastern boundaries of the Borough of Te Aroha, being the north-eastern boundary of Section 88 aforesaid, and along a right line across Gordon Avenue and a Railway Reserve, described in Gazette, 1885, page 1214, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 31, D.P. 17828, along another right line across Aroha View Avenue, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 15, D.P. 17828, Sections 78, 79, 80, 81, and 82, Block IX, aforesaid, a right line across Grattan Road, to and along the northern boundary of Section 9, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, the eastern boundaries of parts Lots 6 and 4, D.P. 5238, the southern side of Te Kawana Road and its production to the eastern side of Stanley Street; thence north-westerly along that eastern side, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern side of a public road forming the north-western boundary of part Section 12, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, shown on D.P. 13231, and continuing along the generally north-western boundary of that section and its production to and down the middle of the Waihou River to a point due west of the southernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 9294; thence due east along a right line for a distance of 3,000 links; thence due north to a point due west of the southernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 9294, and due east across Lot 39, D.P. 11332, and the Thames-Te Aroha Railway to the said southernmost corner; thence northerly along the eastern side of the said railway, to and easterly along the southern boundaries of Sections 31D, 31c 4, 31c 1, parts 31b 3 and 31b 2, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, along a right line across Centennial Avenue, to and along the southern side of Tui Road, to and along the western and northern boundaries of Section 117, Block IX, aforesaid, and that northern boundary produced across a State forest, described in Gazette, 1900, page 6, to the western boundary of Block X, Aroha Survey District; thence southerly along that block boundary, to and easterly along the generally southern boundary of the County of Ohinemuri, as described in Gazette, 1954, page 1306, to and southerly generally along the generally western boundary of the County of Tauranga, as described in Gazette, 1959, page 1670, to the middle of the public road forming the generally south-eastern boundary of Section 60, Selwyn Settlement, in Block I, Tapapa East Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that
