Directing the Sale of Land in the Borough of Eltham

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 17th day

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule
hereto, that land being no longer required for the purpose for
which it was acquired, and signifies pursuant to section 36 of
the said Act, that he concurs in the sale on deferred payments
extending over a period not exceeding five years.

SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres and 18 perches
situated in Block IX, Ngaere Survey District, Borough of
Eltham, Taranaki R.D., and being part Section 39. All
certificate of title, Volume 159, folio 175, Taranaki Land
Registry, subject to the rights contained in transfer No. 19515,
Taranaki Land Registry.

Amending an Order in Council Appointing Five Non-elective
Members of the South Canterbury Catchment Board

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated 3 August
1949 and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Vol. II, page
1626, appointing five non-elective members of the South
Canterbury Catchment Board by deleting "Senior Forest
Ranger, State Forest Service, Christchurch", and substituting
"Assistant Conservator of Forests, New Zealand Forest Ser-
vice, Christchurch".

Varying the Apportionment of Representation on the Poverty
Bay Catchment Board and Making Necessary Arrangements
for Retirements and Elections

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby-
(i) Revokes the Order in Council dated 15 November
1944, published in Gazette, page 1358, Volume
III, 16 November 1944, declaring the number of
members and apportioning representation on the
Poverty Bay Catchment Board;
(ii) Declares that the Poverty Bay Catchment Board
shall consist of 11 elective members and four non-
elective members;
(iii) Further declares that the number of such elective
members to be representative of each separate
constituent district or combined district on the
said Board shall be the number specified in the
Schedule hereto opposite the name of the constit-
uent district or group of names of constituent
districts comprising a combined district;
(iv) Further declares that the group of constituent districts
the names of which are bracketed together in the
first column of the said Schedule is hereby consti-
tuted a combined district for the purposes of the
said Act;
(v) Selects and appoints the Opotiki County Council to be
the principal local authority of the said combined
district;

(vi) Appoints 1 November 1962 as the day on which one
of the representatives of the Cook County on the
Board shall retire; and
(vii) Fixes 17 November 1962 as the date of the first
election of representatives of those constituent and
combined districts not already represented on the
Board.

The Cambridge Rabbit District Order 1962 (Notice No.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Cambridge Rabbit
    District Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Cambridge Rabbit District, which
    was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of July
    1953,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the
    commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said dis-
    trict shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE CAMBRIDGE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Waikato,
Piako, and Matamata Counties and Cambridge Borough con-
taining 81,950 acres, more or less, bounded by a line com-
mencing at a point in the middle of the Waikato River on
the production south-westerly of the north-western boundary
of part Lot 1, D.P. 14466, in Block II, Hamilton Survey
District, and proceeding north-easterly along a right line to
and along the said north-western boundary, to and northerly
along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 16692, another
part of the said Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. 16692 (School Site,
Gazette, 1955, page 1615), to and north-easterly and northerly
along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P.
27808, and Lot 5, D.P. 32103, and along that last-named
boundary produced to the middle of State Highway No. 1;
thence north-easterly along the middle of that highway, the
middles of State Highway No. 26, Tram Road, Tauwhare
Road, and Cambridge-Eureka Main Road, to and generally
southly along the middles of Scotchman’s Valley Road,
Ransteads Road, Hill Road, the aforesaid Cambridge-Eureka
Main Road and Beers Road, to a point in line with the north-
western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3364; thence north-easterly
along a right line, to and along the said north-western boun-
dary, the northern boundary of Section 35s, Te Miro Settle-
ment, the north-western boundaries of Sections 109s, 103s,
and part 33s, the northern, western, and southern boundaries
of Section 83s, the northern boundary of Section 91s, the
abutment of a public road, and the northern boundary of
Section 92s to the southernmost corner of Section 108s;
thence along a right line across the aforesaid Section 108s
and Section 105s to Trig. 705 (Tutaenui) in Block XIV,
Maungakawa Survey District; thence south-easterly along the
north-eastern boundaries of the aforesaid sections 105s and
108s, all the said sections being of Te Miro Settlement, along
the western and north-eastern boundaries of the land shown
on D.P. 28351, the north-eastern boundaries of Section 114s,
Te Miro Settlement, and Kiwitahi 2E and that last-named
boundary produced across Te Miro Road to the north-western
boundary of Kiwitahi 1D 2; thence north-easterly along the
said north-western boundary, to and along the north-eastern
boundary of the said 1D 2, to and generally southerly along
the general western boundary of the Matamata Rabbit Dis-
trict, hereinbefore described, to the middle of the Waikato
River; thence westerly generally down that river to the point
of commencement.
