NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Patangata County Council proposes to take the land in the First Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land to be taken for road is deposited at the office of the Patangata County Council, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours; and persons objecting to the proposal to take the said land must lodge their objection in writing at the office of the Patangata County Council on or before the 23rd day of October 1962.

FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, 7 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 6749, being part Block 5, Tautane Crown Grant District, and being part of the land in certificates of title, H.B. Volume 110, folio 179, and Volume 136, folio 132, which land is more particularly shown coloured blue on S.O. Plan No. 3443.

And, secondly, 16 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being part Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 549, being part Block 5, Tautane Crown Grant District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 25, folio 176, which land is more particularly shown coloured orange on S.O. Plan No. 3443; and all of which land is situated in Block X, Tautane Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Patangata County Council proposes to:
(a) Take the land in the First Schedule hereto for road;
(b) Close those portions of road in the Second Schedule hereto; and
(c) Sever those portions of land in the Third Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land to be taken for road, of the portion of road to be closed, and of the land to be severed is deposited at the office of the Patangata County Council, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours.

And persons objecting to the proposal to take the said land, close the said portions of road, and sever the said portions of land, must lodge their objection in writing at the office of the Patangata County Council on or before the 16th day of October 1962.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
——
In the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private Bills and in the matter of a private Bill intituled “An Act to amend the Church Property Trust (Canterbury) Act 1879 to confer upon the Church Property Trustees certain powers, to provide for other incidental matters, and to facilitate the management and administration of certain real and personal property vested in the Church Property Trustees”.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Church Property Trustees, a body corporate constituted under and by virtue of certain Ordinances of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the late Province of Canterbury intituled respectively “The Church Property Trust Ordinance Session II, No. 3” and “The Church Property Trust Amendment Ordinance 1867”, intends to present a petition to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled and during this present session thereof for leave to introduce the above-mentioned Bill, the objects of which are to amend the Church Property Trust (Canterbury) Act 1879 so as to provide that the Church Property Trustees may, as trustee of the General Trust Estate, transfer or assign by way of mortgage to itself as trustee of the Amalgamated Mortgages and Securities Investment Fund and to enter into covenants and agreements in respect of such transactions with itself and to authorise the registration of such transactions under the Land Transfer Act 1952 and, further, to empower the Church Property Trustees to advance moneys by way of loan upon certain leasehold properties and, further, to empower the Church Property Trustees to accept by way of gift, legacy, or bequest and to acquire by way of purchase shares, stocks, bonds, convertible notes, debentures, or other securities of certain companies or of building societies established in New Zealand and, further, to empower the Church Property Trustees with certain limitations to employ capital of the Dean and Chapter Estate
