of which they are trustee for certain of the purposes relating
to the Dean and Chapter Estate set out in the Church Pro-
perty Trust (Canterbury) Act 1879 and, further, to direct
that the costs, charges, and expenses of and incidental to the
preparation and completion of the Bill shall be paid out of
the income of the General Trust Estate.

The promoter of the Bill is the said the Church Property
Trustees and the address to which communications or notices
to the promoter may be sent and at which a copy of the
Bill may be inspected is at the offices of Elmo Connal Cham-
pion, solicitor for the Church Property Trustees, 183 Man-
chester Street, Christchurch.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

AN ACT TO CONFER POWERS UPON EAST COAST PERMANENT
TRUSTEES LTD.

NOTICE is hereby given that East Coast Permanent Trustees
Ltd. (hereinafter called “the company”) intends to apply for
leave to bring into the House of Representatives, during the
present session of Parliament, a Private Bill the short title of
which is the East Coast Permanent Trustees Ltd. Act 1962.

The objects of the proposed Bill are to confer powers upon
the company in order to enable the company to act as execu-
tor of the will of any deceased person and as administrator
with or without the will annexed of the estate of any deceased
person; and further to enable the company more effectively
to carry on the trust and agency business which it is autho-
rised to carry on under its memorandum of association; and
further to define the powers of the company and to regulate
its practice and procedure in relation to obtaining probate
of wills and letters of administration of the estates of de-
ceased persons and in acting in any other fiduciary capacity.

The Bill is promoted by the company, whose address to
which communications or notices may be sent is at the offices
of Messrs Bannister and von Dadelszen, Solicitors, 123 Queen
Street East, Hastings.

A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected at the above-
mentioned address.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the
day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for
the first insertion and 6d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertions.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
