Notice of Resolution for Voluntary Winding Up

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the
matter of Frys Grocery Ltd. (in receivership).
NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the
minute book of the above-named company on the 31st day
of August 1962, the following extraordinary resolution was
passed by the company, namely:

"Pursuant to section 268 (1) (c) of the Companies' Act
1955, the company hereby resolves that by reason of its
liabilities it cannot continue its business and that by this
extraordinary resolution it take steps to wind up, and with
this end in view it further hereby resolves that the company's
affairs be placed before its creditors with a recommendation
that a liquidator be duly appointed."

A meeting of creditors will be held at Chamber of Commerce Rooms, Customhouse Street, Gisborne, at 4 p.m. on
Wednesday, the 19th day of September 1962.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on
the 10th day of September 1962, presented to the said Court
by John Gilbert and Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company
having its registered office at Tasman Buildings, Anzac
Avenue, Auckland, general merchants; and that the said
petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at
Auckland on the 28th day of September 1962 at 10 o'clock
in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to support or oppose the making of an
order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing
in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of

the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any
creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a
copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand pounds
(£250,000) to be known as the Purchase of Properties Loan
1962, £250,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by
the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts
for the purpose of purchasing properties, and the cost of
raising the loan, the Auckland City Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of seven twentieths of one penny (7/20ths
of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis
of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland
City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and
that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the
currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."

Certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the
Auckland City Council held on the 27th day of August 1962.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in

to be known as the Point Erin Baths Loan 1962, £47,000,

meeting part of the cost of constructing a public swimming
bath at Point Erin Park, with building and ancillary equipment, and developing and landscaping the surrounding area
and the cost of raising the loan, the Auckland City Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of one
penny (⅛th of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value
(on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property
of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be
payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year
during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is
fully paid off."
