PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan 1962 of £13,400

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Pukekohe Borough Council held on Wednesday, 18 July 1962:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual loan charges
on a loan of £13,400 authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing accommodation for aged people, the
said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of decimal nought seven eight (0·078) of a penny (1d.) in
the pound (£) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the
unimproved value, of all rateable property in the Borough
of Pukekohe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be pay-
able half-yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day
of March in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off."

PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL

SPECIAL ORDER CONSOLIDATING SPECIAL RATES

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and all other powers
enabling it in that behalf, the Papakura Borough Council hereby
resolves by way of special order that instead of levying the special
rates specified in the Schedule hereto, a uniform consolidated
special rate of one point three nine pence (1·39d.) in the pound
on all rateable property within the Borough of Papakura be and
the same is hereby made an annual-recurring rate for the purpose
of paying the annual charges payable in respect of the loans
secured by those special rates, and the consolidated special rate
shall be payable in one sum on the 1st day of August in each year.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council
proposes, in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to
take the land in the Schedule hereto for roading purposes;
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said
land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office
of the Southland County Council, Invercargill, and is open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have any objections thereto must state their objections in
writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Southland
County Council at the Council's offices, Invercargill.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the Southland Land Regis-
tration District containing twenty-nine poles and five-tenths
of a pole (29·5 pls), more or less, being part Lot 78, Deposited
Plan No. 175A, being part Section 3, Block VIII of the Lind-
hurst Hundred, and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 28, folio 188, South-
land Registry, coloured blue on the plan referred to in this
notice, and which plan is deposited in the offices of the Chief
Surveyor at Invercargill as No. 6768.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the
First Schedule hereto and to stop the portions of road
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A plan of the portions of land proposed to be taken and
of the portion of road proposed to be stopped is open for
public inspection at the office of the Raglan County Council,
Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, during 40 days from the
date of the first publication of this notice. All persons object-
ing to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at
