CITY OF TAKAPUNA

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Takapuna City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of off-street parking in the Milford area; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate in Lake Road, Takapuna, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Takapuna City Council, Lake Road, Takapuna.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Amendments to Parts of Palmerston North District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 30th day of July 1962, parts of the district scheme, as already operative, are to be amended and the Council has recommended for approval these amendments under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

A plan of these amendments, as recommended by the Council, has been deposited at:

The Municipal Library, Fitzherbert Avenue,
The Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue,
The Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street,
The Takaro Library, Botanical Road, and The Municipal Chambers, The Square,

and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the recommended amendments to the District scheme, which the Council proposes to approve, may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked "objection to district scheme", and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4 p.m. Monday, 24 September 1962.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR RECREATION PURPOSES IN BLOCK XIII, HUIROA SURVEY DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Stratford County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1956, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for recreation purposes.

Notice is further given that the plan of the land to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Council at Broadway, Stratford, and the plan is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth such objections in writing and lodge the same with the County Clerk of the Stratford County Council at Stratford on or before the 15th day of September 1962.

CLUTHA COUNTY COUNCIL

WORKS RENEWAL LOAN 1962, SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Clutha County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Clutha County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of portions maturing on 2 July 1962 and 30 March 1963, respectively, of Works Loan 1956, £45,000, and the Works Loan 1952, £15,000, the said Clutha County Council hereby makes a special rate of forty-eight thousandths of a penny in the pound (0·048d. in £) upon the rateable (unimproved) value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Clutha; and that the special rate shall be a yearly recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of City of Christchurch District Scheme, Section 1 (Zoning)

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to resolutions of the Council dated 16 May 1962, 20 June 1962, and 18 July 1962, it has been recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereunder.

The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council are deposited in the Council Offices, 194 Manchester Street, the public library, and each branch library.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made in written notice on form E prescribed in the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked "objection to scheme change" and lodged at the offices of the Council at any time not later than noon on Tuesday, 25 September 1962. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available at the Council offices and libraries.
