Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waipa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

All that portion of road known as Oxford Street, Town of Kingston, adjoining Sections 20, 21, 22, and 23, Block XIV, Town of Kingston, Lot 1, D.P. 4985, and Lot 2, D.P. 5672; commencing at its junction with Kent Street and proceeding in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 5 chains approximately; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5707 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Northcote Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft.
