duced to the western side of the public road forming the
western boundary of the said part Allotment 209; thence
northerly along the western side of that road and its production
across a public road to the south-western side of the North
Island Main Trunk Railway; thence north-westerly along that
south-western side to and north-easterly along the south-eastern
side of Church Road, across the aforesaid railway continuing
along the south-eastern side of Church Road, across State
Highway No. 1, to and easterly along the northern boundaries
of part Allotments 19 and 20, Pukete Parish, as shown on
D.P. 12039, part Lots 4 and 3, Deeds Plan 346, and along
the northern boundary of Allotment 21, Pukete Parish, and
that last-named boundary produced to the eastern side of
Pukete Road; thence northerly along that eastern roadside
and its production across part Allotment 23B, Pukete Parish, to
the middle of the Waikato River; thence generally southerly
up the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle
of St. Andrews Terrace on the boundary of the City of
Hamilton as described in Gazette, 1959, page 467; thence
generally westerly, southerly, and easterly along the said city
boundary to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Waikato County containing 80
acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing on the
eastern boundary of the City of Hamilton as described in
Gazette, 1959, page 467, at the eastern end of the northern
side of Alderson Road and proceeding northerly and easterly
along the western and northern boundaries of Lot 29, D.P.
16401, the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P.
24745, to and easterly along the northern side of Powells
Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 7,
D.P.S. 5308; thence southerly along a right line across Powells
Road to and along the said eastern boundary and westerly
along the southern boundaries of Lots 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1

acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point
on the boundary of the City of Hamilton, as described in
Gazette, 1959, page 467, in the middle of the Waikato River,
in line with the middle of St. Andrews Terrace, in Block
XIII, Komakorau Survey District, and proceeding down the
middle of that river to and generally easterly up the middle
of the Kirikiriira Stream to a point due north of the northern-
most corner of Lot 2, D.P. 13544; thence due south to the
aforesaid corner; thence easterly along the northern boundaries
of the said Lot 2, southerly and easterly along the western
and southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 8603, southerly along
the eastern boundary of part Lot 3, D.P. 12521, to the northern
side of Crosby Road; thence along a right line across the
said road to the westernmost corner of part Lot 5, D.P.
12521; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of
Crosby Road to a point 225 links distant from and measured
at right angles to the eastern side of a public road connecting

County, containing 1,300 acres, more or less, bounded by a line
commencing at a point in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey
District, on the eastern boundary of the City of Hamilton as
described in Gazette, 1959, page 467, in the middle of State
Farm Road, and proceeding easterly and southerly along the
middle of the said State Farm Road, Hillcrest Road, and
Silverdale Road, to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Allotment 247A, Kirikiriira Parish; thence north-
easterly along a right line to and along the north-western,
and south-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of the
said allotment and along the north-eastern boundaries
of Allotments 247 and 248, Kirikiriira Parish, to the middle
of a tributary stream of the Mangaonua Stream shown on
N.Z.M.S. 1, Sheet No. 65 (grid reference 840470); thence
generally southerly down the middle of that tributary and
the middle of the Mangaonua Stream to the middle of State
Highway No. 1 (Cambridge Road); thence generally westerly
along the middle of the said highway to a point due north
of the westernmost corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 14541 (gravel
reserve, Gazette, 1934, page 3560); thence due south to the
said corner, and that last-mentioned line produced to the
middle of Riverlea Road; thence south-easterly along the
middle of the said road to a point in line with the north-
eastern boundary of Lot 16, D.P.S. 4170; thence south-
westerly along a right line to and along the said boundary to
and generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the
north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 11,
D.P. 14466, to a point in line with the northern boundary of
Allotment 418, Kirikiriira Parish; thence easterly along a
right line across part Lot 12, D.P. 14466, to and along the
said northern boundary, and that last-mentioned boundary
produced across Riverlea Road to its eastern side; thence
generally northerly along the said eastern side to and easterly
along the northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P.S. 4461, to and
easterly along the southern side of State Highway No. 1 to
the middle of the Mangaonua Stream; thence generally south-

Varing a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of
Portion of a Street Known as Alice Street in the City of
Lower Hutt, Imposed by Order in Council Under Section
117 of the Public Works Act 1908

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends
the Order in Council dated the 20th day of November, 1925,
published in Gazette, 3 December 1925, Volume III, page
3311, and registered as No. 1209, Wellington Land Registry,
exempting, inter alia, Alice Street from the provisions of
section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, subject to a con-
dition as to the building line, by varying the condition with
regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in
Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any
time be erected on part Lot 12, D.P. 9106, being part Section
21, Hutt District, being balance certificate of title, Volume
547, folio 187, Wellington Land Registry, within a distance of
25 ft from the centre line of the said street.
