Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Fire Services Act 1949, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order :
O R D E R
The Wainuiomata Secondary Urban Fire District is hereby
constituted an urban fire district by the name of the Wainuiomata Urban Fire District.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1961,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.
O R D E R

  1. On and from the 1st day of June 1962 the area described
    in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the
    County of Waipa and included in the City of Hamilton.
  2. On and from the date aforesaid the area described in the
    Second Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County
    of Waikato and included in the City of Hamilton.
  3. The alteration of the boundaries of the said counties and
    the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been
    effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Waipa
    County, containing 4,570 acres, more or less, bounded by a
    line commencing at a point in Block II, Hamilton Survey
    District, on the boundary of the City of Hamilton as described
    in Gazette, 1959, page 467, at the intersection of the middle
    of the Mangakotukutuku Stream with the north-eastern side
    of Peacockes Road; thence south-easterly along the said roadside to a point 225 links distant from and measured north-westerly at right angles to the north-western side of that
    portion of Peacockes Road forming the south-eastern boundary
    of part Allotment 56, Te Rapa Parish, contained in C.T.
    774/5; thence north-easterly along a right line parallel to the
    said roadside to and southerly along the western boundary of
    Lot 2, D.P. 34164, to the north-western side of the said road;
    thence along a right line across the said road to the northern-
    most corner of part Allotment 75, Te Rapa Parish, as shown
    on D.P. 27372; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern
    and southern boundaries of the said part Allotment 75 to
    and along the eastern and southern boundaries of Lot 21,
    D.P.S. 3743, and the southern boundaries of Lots 20 and 19
    of the last-mentioned plan to the southernmost corner of the
    said Lot 19; thence westerly along a right line across part of
    Lot 1, D.P. 35271, to and along the southern boundaries of
    Lots 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4,
    D.P.S. 3743, to the southernmost corner of the said Lot 4;
    thence along a right line across part of Lot 1, D.P. 35271,
    to and along the southern boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1,
    D.P.S. 3743, to and southerly along the eastern boundary of
    Lot 2, D.P. 35271, to a point in line with the north-western
    boundary of part Allotment 44, Te Rapa Parish; thence
    south-westerly along a right line across Lot 2, D.P. 35271, Lot
    1, D.P.S. 72, part of Allotments 57 and 55 and Allotment
    412, all of Te Rapa Parish, to and along the north-western
    and south-western boundaries of the aforesaid part Allotment
    44, to the north-western side of Dixon Road; thence generally
    south-westerly along the said north-western side to the middle
    of State Highway No. 3 (Ohaupo Road); thence generally
    south-easterly, along the middle of the said highway to a
    point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P.S.
    6788; thence westerly along a right line, to and along the
    last-mentioned boundary to its western end; thence westerly
    along a right line across part of Allotment 61, Te Rapa Parish,
    to the easternmost corner of Lot 47 on Scheme Plan S. 4121;
    thence generally southerly along the eastern boundaries of
    Lots 47, 46, 45, 44, 42, 41, 35, and 34, westerly along the
    southern boundaries of the said Lot 34 and Lot 32 to and
    southerly along the eastern boundaries of Lots 31 and 30,
    westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 30 to
    and southerly across the eastern end of a road to be dedicated
    (Lot 59), to and easterly, southerly, and westerly along the
    northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of Lot 29 and
    along the southern boundaries of Lots 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, and
    23, all the aforesaid lots being of Scheme Plan S. 4121, along
    the southern boundary of Lot 19, D.P.S. 3072, to the eastern
    side of Houchens Road; thence along a right line crossing
    the said road to the southernmost corner of Lot 27, D.P.S.
    5480; thence along the southern and western boundaries of
    the said Lot 27, the western boundaries of Lots 26, 25, 24,
    23, and 22, the western and northern boundaries of Lots 21
    and 20, the western boundary of Lot 19, the southern and
    western boundaries of Lot 29 (road reserve), and the western
    boundary of Lot 28 (recreation reserve) to the westernmost
    corner of that lot, all the aforesaid lots being of D.P.S. 5480;
    thence westerly along a right line across part of Lot 2 and Lot
    1, D.P. 15967, to the easternmost corner of part Lot 5,
    D.P. 6673, along the northern boundary of that lot to the
    easternmost corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 35285; thence
    along the southern and western boundaries of the said part Lot
    1 to a point 225 links distant from and measured at right
    angles to the southern side of Saxby Road; thence westerly,
    along a series of right lines parallel to the said southern road
    side, to and northerly along the western boundary of Lot 2,
    D.P. 25668, and that last-mentioned boundary produced to
    the northern side of that road; thence westerly along that
    northern roadside to the southernmost corner of Lot 3, D.P.S.
    7385; thence northerly along the western boundaries of the
    said Lot 3 and along that last-named boundary produced to
    the northern side of Collins Road; thence westerly along that
    roadside to the eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk
    Railway; thence northerly along that said eastern side to a
    point in line with the southern boundary of part Allotment
    365, Te Rapa Parish, as shown on D.P. 16548; thence along
    a right line across the said railway, to and along the aforesaid
    boundary, the southern end of Higgins Road, the southern
    boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P.S. 6052, and part Allotment
    364, Te Rapa Parish, as shown on D.P. 14608, to the southern-
    most corner of Lot 2, D.P. 12056; thence southerly along a
    right line across Lot 1, D.P. 13477, to the eastern end of the
    northernmost boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 13477; thence
    westerly along the said boundary to the easternmost corner
    of Lot 1, D.P.S. 5214, and south-westerly generally along
    the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1, the south-eastern
    and south-western boundaries of Lot 2, the south-eastern
    boundary of Lot 3, the north-eastern and south-eastern boun-
    daries of Lot 4, and the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 5,
    6, and 7 to the southernmost corner of the said Lot 7, all
    the aforesaid lots being of D.P.S. 5214; thence along a
    right line across part Lot 2, D.P. 13477, to the easternmost
    corner of Lot 8, along the south-eastern boundaries of the
    said Lot 8 and Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13, all of D.P.S. 5214,
    along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Lot
    14 of the aforesaid D.P.S. 5214, to the south-eastern side of
    the Frankton Pirongia Main Road (Tuhikaramaea Road);
    thence north-easterly along that roadside to a point in line
    with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 22674; thence
    along a right line across the said road, to and along the last-
    mentioned boundary to the northernmost corner of the afore-
    said Lot 1; thence south-westerly along the north-western
    boundary of that lot to a point 225 links distant from and
    measured at right angles to the south-western side of Gibson
    Road; thence along a series of right lines, parallel to the
    south-western and southern sides of that road, to and northerly
    along the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 28429, to the
    southern side of Gibson Road; thence along a right line
    across Gibson Road to the southernmost corner of Allotment
    20, Te Rapa Parish; thence along a right line across New-
    castle Road, to and along the northern side of Gibson Road
    to a point 225 links distant from and measured at right
    angles to the western side of Newcastle Road; thence along
    a series of right lines, parallel to the said roadside, across
    State Highway No. 23 (Whatawhata Road), to and westerly,
    northerly, and easterly along the southern, western, and
    northern boundaries of parts Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 16666 (Post
    and Telegraph purposes, Gazette, 1957, page 1245), to and
    northerly along the western boundaries of Lots 4, 3, 2, and 1,
    D.P.S. 4180, along a right line across part Lot 3, D.P. 16666,
    to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P.S. 2587; thence
    northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 1, to
    and westerly along the northern boundary of part Lot 3,
    D.P. 16666, to and along the western boundaries of Lots 6,
    5, 4, 3, and 2, D.P.S. 4317, the western boundaries of Lots
    7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, D.P.S. 6145, and easterly along the
    northern boundary of the last-mentioned Lot 1 to a point
    225 links distant from and measured at right angles to the
    western side of Newcastle Road; thence northerly and north-
    westerly along a series of right lines parallel to the western
    and south-western side of that road and the north-western
    side of Grand Vue Road to the south-western boundary of
    Lot 1, D.P. 12212; thence north-westerly and north-easterly
    along the south-western and north-western boundaries of the
    last-mentioned Lot 1, along the north-western boundaries of
    Lots 81, 80, 79, part 78, and 77, D.P. 9238, to and south-
    easterly and north-easterly along the south-western and south-
    eastern boundaries of Lot 11, D.P.S. 3049, to the northernmost
    corner of Lot 9 of that plan; thence along a right line crossing
    the said Lot 11 to the westernmost corner of Lot 8 of the
    same plan; thence along the south-eastern and north-eastern
    boundaries of the aforesaid Lot 11, to the northernmost corner
    of that lot, and along the north-eastern side of Oak Avenue
    and its production to the north-western side of Dominion
