PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as amended by section 2 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the closing of the portions of a street off College Road in the Borough of Northcote described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those portions of street situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, Borough of Northcote, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining or Passing Through
0 2 34·3 Lots 66 and 67, D.P. 21894, being part Allotment 32, Parish of Takapuna, and Lot 20, D.P. 37748, being part Allotment 22, Parish of Takapuna.

Exempting Land in the Westland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

COBHAM, Governor-General

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being Allotments 1 and 2, Block IV, of Section 4 of Square 124, Cobden Survey District (Town of Dunollie), and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 17, folio 96 (Westland Registry), reserving nevertheless all minerals under the said land with power to work and get the same as more fully set forth in transfer number 4285.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 16th day of April 1962.

Notice of Intent to Issue a Proclamation Closing Roads and Vesting Land in the Martins Bay and Hollyford Survey Districts and in the Town of Jamestown in Her Majesty the Queen as Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1960, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention, after the expiration of three months from the date hereof, to issue a Proclamation closing the roads described in the First Schedule hereto and declaring the lands described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown Land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Plans showing these lands are deposited in the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, and the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, where they may be inspected during office hours free of charge.

Any objections to the proposal either in general terms of by the registered proprietor, lessee, licensee, or any other person having any estate or interest in the lands specified in the Second and Third Schedules hereto are to be made in writing addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, on or before the 31st day of July 1962.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED AND VESTED IN HER MAJESTY

Hollyford Survey District

APPROXIMATE total area of roads to be closed and vested in Her Majesty: 38 acres 2 roods being road passing through Sections 1 and 2, Block I; road adjoining the eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block I; road along the north-western bank of the Pyke River from the Hollyford River towards Lake Alabaster and adjoining Run 472; road generally along the south-eastern bank of the Pyke River and the south-eastern shore of Lake Alabaster from the Hollyford River to the eastern boundary of Hollyford Survey District, passing through and adjoining Run 473. All in Hollyford Survey District. As shown on the plan marked L. and S .4/300/25B deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington; and thereon coloured green.
