Declaring Land Acquired for a Local Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 0·5 perches situated in Block I, Greenburn Survey District, Marlborough R.D., being part land shown on D.P. 167, being part Section 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4929 (S.O. 4403) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange, edged orange.

Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of April 1962.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

SECTION 88, Block IV, Aroha Survey District: Area, 8 acres 3 roods 27 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 26/65 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 23930.)

RESERVE 5126 situated in Blocks X, XI, XIV, XV, XVI, Dillon Survey District, and Blocks II, III, IV, and VI, Tekoa Survey District: Area, 17,850 acres, more or less. As shown on plan No. 122/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 9851s.)

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitemata County Council to reclaim from the sea at Weiti River the land edged dark blue on plan marked M.D. 11203 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea adjacent to Seddon Terrace, Manukau Harbour, the land marked “A”, coloured blue, on plan marked M.D. 11208 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council as published in Gazette, 21 July 1955, Vol. II, page 1143, declaring the land described in the Schedule hereto to be administered under the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908.
