Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

PURSUANT to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act
1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to authorise the holder for the time being of the office of
District Administration Officer, Department of Lands and
Survey, Whangarei
in the service of the Crown, as an officer authorised to take
and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Appointment of Officers Authorised to Attest the Signatures
of Maoris

PURSUANT to sections 222 and 464 of the Maori Affairs Act
1953, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to appoint

Joseph Runga, Field Officer, Kaitaia
Donald Bruce Todd, Assistant Field Officer, Whangarei
Dan Whitfield, Senior Building Supervisor, Palmerston
North,
being officers in the service of the Crown employed by the
Department of Maori Affairs in the position set out opposite
his name, as an officer authorised to attest the signatures of
Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land and to
instruments by way of security within the meaning of the
Chattels Transfer Act 1924.

Maoris

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Alan Roy Walsh, Building Supervisor, Kaitaia,
being an officer in the service of the Crown employed by
the Department of Maori Affairs in the position set out
opposite his name, as an officer authorised to attest the
signatures of Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori
land.
