Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall as from
the date hereof be added to and form part of the Tongariro
National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered,
and dealt with by the Tongariro National Park Board in
accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

The Te Puke High School Board of Governors Order 1962

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914 as
amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act
1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Te Puke High School
    Board of Governors Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of the
    Te Puke High School prescribed by the Te Puke High School
    Board of Governors Order 1957* is hereby varied so that,
    notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 90 of
    the Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by
    a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Educa-
    tion Board:
    (b) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils
    attending the school:
    (c) One member appointed by the Board, which member
    shall be a woman in every case where no other
    woman has been appointed or elected a member
    of the Board.
  3. The Te Puke High School Board of Governors Order
    1957* is hereby revoked.

Appointment of Commissioner for New Zealand in Singapore

Pursuant to the External Affairs Act 1943, the Governor-
General in Council has been pleased to appoint

Robert Hunter Wade

to be Commissioner for New Zealand in Singapore and in
North Borneo, Sarawak, and Brunei to hold the said office
as on and from the 2nd day of May 1962 to the 1st day of
May 1964.
