Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

Licensing the Lane Motor Boat Co. Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of Tamaki River at Panmure as a Site for a Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Lane Motor Boat Co. Ltd., of Auckland (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Tamaki River at Panmure, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8685 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of March 1962.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

PURSUANT to section 13 (1) of the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, the Meat Export Prices Committee hereby gives notice of the following Schedule of Deficiency Payments to be made to owners in respect of the weekly periods and classes of meat specified in the said Schedule.

Price Order No. 1870 (Island Oranges)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, I, Alan Brown McLauchlan, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Industries and Commerce acting under a delegation from the Price Tribunal, hereby make the following price order:

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1870 and shall come into force on the 1st day of May 1962.
  2. (1) Price Order No. 1772* is hereby revoked.
    (2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.
  3. (1) In this order “Island oranges” means oranges grown in any of the Pacific Islands and imported into New Zealand.
    (2) References in this order to metropolitan areas are references to the metropolitan areas described in the Schedule hereto.
