Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for a University in the City
of Auckland
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the
land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty
the Queen by Merivale Holdings Ltd. under and by virtue of
Lease No. 23014, Auckland Land Registry, for a term com-
mencing on the 1st day of September 1954 and terminating on
the 30th day of April 1972, is hereby taken for a university;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 30th day of April 1962.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 21.5 perches situated in
Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland,
Auckland R.D., and being part land on D.P. 5243, being part
Allotments 1 and 9 of Section 34, City of Auckland. All
leasehold certificate of title, Volume 1126, folio 188, Auckland
Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 14th day of April 1962.

All that piece of land containing 8 acres 2 roods 11 perches
situated in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District, being part
Ngarara West A3c; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4290 (S.O. 24197)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of April 1962.

Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Blocks II, III, VI, VII,
IX, and X, Hautapu Survey District, viz., a Deviation of the
Utiku-Mangaweka Section of the Awanui-Bluff State
Highway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a road
desired to be constructed over Blocks II, III, VI, VII, IX, and
X, Hautapu Survey District, viz., a deviation of the Utiku-
Mangaweka section of the Awanui-Bluff State Highway, shall
be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands
situated within the limits of the area bounded by broken red
lines shown on the plan marked M.O.W. 4107 referred to in
the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
Commencing at a point marked 482 miles on the Awanui to
Bluff State Highway No. 1 adjacent to the boundary of
Sections 25 and 26, Block III, Town of Potaka, situated in
Block III, Hautapu Survey District, and thence proceeding in
a general southerly direction for about 3.5 miles in, into,
through, or over the following lands: Sections 1, 2, 3, 4,
and 5, Block VII, Town of Potaka, situated in Blocks II and
III, Hautapu Survey District; Lots 3, 4, and 5, D.P. 4034,
being part Awarua 4c 9A, situated in Blocks II, III, VI, and
and VII, Hautapu Survey District; parts Awarua 4c 6 and
Lot 1, D.P. 13895, being part Awarua 4c 6, situated in Blocks
VI and VII, Hautapu Survey District; Awarua 4c 7A and
4c 7B, a closed road, Lot 1, D.P. 10885, being part Awarua
Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes
in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and
river control purposes, and shall vest in the Manawatu Catch-
ment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 30th day of April 1962.
