COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A PUBLIC ROAD AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP A ROAD

Notice is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to execute a public work, namely, the taking for a public road those pieces of land described in the First Schedule hereto, and to stop those portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A copy of Survey Office Plan No. 41002 showing the said land is available for inspection at the office of the said County Council in Kapanga Road, Coromandel, during business hours.

All persons affected by the said taking and/or stopping must state their objections in writing and lodge the same at the office of the said County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, i.e., on or before the 29th day of May 1962.

WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Harbours Act 1950, and the Wellington Harbour Board Empowering Act 1908 (No. 16 - Local).

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Harbour Board (hereinafter called “the Board”) proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and of the Harbours Act 1950 and of the Wellington Harbour Board Empowering Act 1908 and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it so to do, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for purposes of and in connection with a public work and harbour work, namely, a harbour reclamation work which the board is authorised to undertake and carry out adjoining the said land proposed to be taken as aforesaid, and also for the purpose of obtaining access to and frontage to a public road, namely, to Evans Bay Parade (also otherwise known as Evans Bay Road) for land vested in the Board and also for the purpose of obtaining access to and frontage to the said public road for and in connection with an undertaking which the Board is authorised to carry out, namely, the said harbour reclamation work; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the secretary of the Board at the entrance to Queen’s Wharf, Wellington, and on such plan the said land is coloured in outline green and is there open for inspection during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land or by the execution of the said public work or undertakings, shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the said taking of the said land or to the execution of the said public work or undertakings, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington Harbour Board addressed to the Secretary of the Board at his said office.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situate in the Land Registration District of Wellington containing thirty-eight perches and six-tenths of a perch (0 ac. 0 r. 38·6 p.), more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part of Section 2, Evans Bay District, and being also Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 9933, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 921, folio 39, Wellington Registry.

Subject to fencing covenant contained in Transfer No. 208887.

MAKARA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME

SPECIFIC DEPARTURE FROM SECTION 5

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board on the 7th day of November 1961 consented to a specific departure from the Makara County District Scheme, section 5, by amending the zoning of the under-mentioned land from “rural” to “residential”. The land being part Lot 1 on Plan A. 1773 and in certificate of title, Volume 913, folio 81, Wellington Registry, being also part of Section 42, Karori District.

Copies of the specific departure as consented to by the Board have been deposited in the Council’s office and in the Porirua Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL

DISTRICT SCHEMES APPROVED

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the No’s. 1, 4, and 5 sections of the Makara County District Scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 21st day of March 1962, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the schemes had been disposed of and the schemes had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district schemes required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the schemes shall come into operation on the 1st day of May 1962.

Copies of the schemes, as approved, have been deposited in the Council’s office and at the Porirua Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
