AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
General Extension and Improvement Loan 1962 of £600,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Auckland Electric Power Board Act 1921–22, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it the Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £600,000 known as the General Extension and Improvement Loan 1962 of £600,000 for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board’s area and the general extension and improvement of its supply within that area, the Auckland Electric Power Board doth hereby make and levy a special rate of one-twentieth (¹/₂₀) of a penny in the pound (£) on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Auckland Electric Power District, comprising the City of Auckland together with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Manurewa, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, Papakura, and Papatoetoe, the County of Manukau, and the Road District of Waiheke; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off:"
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed by the Auckland Electric Power Board at its meeting held on 13 April 1962.

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The following resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council held on 9 April 1962:
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £235,000 authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for sewer drainage, stormwater drainage, and streets and footpaths improvements, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one decimal two two pence (1·22d.) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellsford Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1961, £10,750
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,750 authorised to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the additional cost of the Wellsford Water Supply Scheme, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 748d. in the pound upon the rateable value, based on the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the Wellsford Riding of the County of Rodney, which said Riding has been duly constituted a “Water Supply Area” in terms of section 266 of the Counties Act 1956, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

KING COUNTRY—ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1962, £94,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the King Country Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £94,000 authorised to be raised by the King Country Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulation and strengthening of existing reticulation within the Board’s District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Board Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the said King Country Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one decimal nought eight pence (1·08d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the King Country Electric Power Board District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of May and the 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
County Office Loan 1961, £35,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new office building, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two pence (0·2d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property appearing on the valuation roll of the County of Taranaki; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Taranaki County Council held on the 10th day of April 1962.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
Notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Franklin; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send same within 40 days from the 13th day of April 1962, being the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
