In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Electrical Installation Co. (Wanganui) Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company, dated the 9th day of April 1962, the following resolution was passed by the company, namely:

"Resolved that by reason of its inability to pay its creditors in full the Electrical Installation Co. (Wanganui) Ltd. call a meeting of its creditors for the purposes of commencing creditors' voluntary winding-up proceedings.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 12th day of April 1962, presented to the said Court by Gormack Wilkes Davidson Ltd. a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Invercargill and carrying on business there and elsewhere as garage proprietor. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Invercargill on the 7th day of June 1962 at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership lately subsisting between us in the business of garage proprietors and motor engineers and carried on under the style "Dalgleish and Arnott" was dissolved by mutual consent on the 31st day of March 1962. All debts due to or accounts for amounts owing by the said firm will be received by the firm at the offices of Mr S. F. McLellan, Public Accountant, P.O. Box 175, Taumarunui.

NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Sunshine Motors Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office at Mount Maunganui.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 13th day of April 1962 there was registered with the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland, dated the 26th day of March 1962, and a minute of the said Company approved by the Court confirming the reduction of the share capital in the above named company from £7,500 divided into 7,500 shares of £1 each to £3,000 divided into 3,000 shares of £1 each; and that such reduction is to be effected by paying to each shareholder the sum of 12s. for each share held by each shareholder being capital which is in excess of the wants of the company.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of forty-three thousand six hundred pounds (£43,600) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 2, 1962, £43,600, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting deficiencies in sinking funds available to redeem the Avondale Drainage Loan 1957, £254,000, part of 1st Issue of £40,000, the Building Acquisition Loan 1956, £150,000, part of 3rd Issue of £35,000, the Purchase of Properties Loan 1956, £150,000, 2nd Issue of £10,000, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-twentyfifths of one penny (2/25 of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of four hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£450,000) to be known as the Works Loan 1961, £450,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of upgrading and constructing streets, drainage works, new depot buildings, and parking area, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four-fifths of one penny (4/5ths of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."
