NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND


In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Taranaki Street and Abel Smith Street in the City of Wellington, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement:

First, three one-hundredths of a perch (0·03 pch), more or less, being part of Section 10, Town of Wellington, being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 24872, and thereon coloured sepia.

Secondly, twelve and eighty-seven one-hundredths perches (12·87 pchs), more or less, being part of Section 108, Town of Wellington, being part of the land in Deposited Plan No. 6961 and being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 24872, and thereon coloured blue.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A RECREATION GROUND


In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments, and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a recreation ground passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated in Te Atatu Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE

Lots 1 to 3 and 5 to 9 (inclusive), D.P. 45966, and part Lot 8, D.P. 20167, being part allotment 90, Waikomiti Parish, containing 11 acres 2 roods 23 perches, more or less, and being the balance of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 689, folio 134.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Springs County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road.

A plan showing the land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Springs County Council, Lincoln. Any persons having any well grounded objection to the proposed taking should lodge their objections in writing within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the said office of the Springs County Council.
