KAIAPOI BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kaiapoi Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to widen and legalise Sims Road, Kaiapoi, as a public street, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land so required to be taken and the names of the owners and occupiers of such land so far as they can be ascertained is deposited in the public office of the Kaiapoi Borough Council, High Street, Kaiapoi, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, namely, the 13th day of April 1962, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, High Street, Kaiapoi.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situated in the Borough of Kaiapoi containing two roods twenty-three and four-tenths perches (0 ac. 2rd. 23·4pcs.), more or less, being part Rural Sections 1260, 1260x, and 1289; as the same is more particularly delineated on Survey Office Plan No. 9904, and thereon coloured red, being the balance of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 109 folio 225, formerly owned by Mary Dale, of Kaiapoi, widow, now deceased, and being a right of way known as Sims Road.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work and severance the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
