TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Te Awamutu Borough Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a pipeline to carry water in connection with the borough waterworks for which purpose the easement over land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

Plans of the easement required to be taken as aforesaid lie open to inspection at the office of the Te Awamutu Borough Council in Roche Street, Te Awamutu.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such easement and to send such writing to the Te Awamutu Borough Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to change the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto was acquired (namely for the purposes of car sheds in connection with electric tramways) to some other purpose (namely for housing purposes).

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the proposed change of purpose should, if they have well-grounded objections to the proposed change of purpose, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land situate in the City of Wellington containing together by admeasurement three acres one rood four and six-tenths perches (3a. 1r. 4·6p.), more or less, being parts of Town Belt, City of Wellington, and being the lands more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 25288, and thereon coloured blue and orange.
