SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Southland Land District containing 24 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waihopai River at its intersection with a line parallel to and distant 300 links north-east of the centre line of Racecourse Road, measured at right angles; thence north-westerly along the said line to a point in line with the centre line of the land proposed to be taken for a diversion channel of the Waihopai River, as shown on S.O. 6730; thence westerly generally along the said centre line to its intersection with the left bank of the Waihopai River at Part Lot 1, D.P. 1756 (C.T. 181/128); thence easterly generally along the said left bank, being also the boundary of the City of Invercargill as described in the Gazette of 1958 at page 1263, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Waipa and included in the Borough of Te Awamutu.
- The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Waipa County, containing 560 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 18196, situated in Block II, Puniu Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 2 to the intersection of the south-western boundary of part Lot 7, D.P. 20887; thence north-westerly along a right line crossing the aforesaid part Lot 7 and part Allotment 69, Mangapiko Parish, both the last-named portions of land being shown on S.O. plan 32224 and taken for Defence purposes by Gazette 1956, page 608, to the southernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 36301; thence north-westerly and easterly along the south-western and northern boundaries of the said Lot 1 to and north-easterly generally along the north-western side of Racecourse Road to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 26593; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. 26593, to the easternmost corner of the said Lot 2; thence northerly along the production northerly of the eastern boundary of the said Lot 2 to and westerly generally along the generally northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 34457, to the angle in that boundary 83Β° 16', 326 links measured easterly from the north-western corner of the said lot; thence along a series of right lines 750 links, 1,300 links, and 700 links to a point on the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 35654, 1050 links westerly from the easternmost corner of that lot; thence easterly along the said northern boundary to and southerly along the western side of State Highway No. 3 to the southernmost corner of the aforementioned Lot 2, and along a right line crossing the said highway to the north-western corner of part Allotment 249, as shown on D.P. 159; thence easterly along the northern boundary of part Allotment 249 aforesaid to a point in line with the production northerly of the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1799; thence southerly along a right line to and along the eastern boundaries of Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, D.P. S. 4416, along the end of a public road and along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lots 13 to 7 inclusive, D.P. S. 4416, along a right line crossing part Lot 3, D.P. 9070, to and along the eastern boundaries of Lots 6, 5, and 4, D.P. S. 4416, to and along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 5000, and that last-named boundary produced across the Te Awamutu-Cambridge road to its southern side; thence westerly along that roadside to the north-eastern corner of Lot 8, D.P. S. 5264; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Lot 8 and again westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 7 to 1 inclusive, D.P. S. 5264, Lots 26 to 17 inclusive, D.P. S. 822, Lots 3 and 1, D.P. S. 6600, and Lots 14 to 3 inclusive, D.P. S. 822 and the production westerly of the last-named boundary to the eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 822 aforesaid; thence southerly and westerly generally, along the eastern and southern boundary of the said Lot 2 and the southern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. S. 5211, and Lots 17 to 11 inclusive, D.P. S. 3190, along a right line crossing part Allotment 403, Puniu Parish, to and again westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 10 to 1 inclusive, D.P. S. 3190, to the eastern boundary of Lot 19, D.P. 35863; thence south-easterly and westerly along the north-eastern and southern boundaries of the said Lot 19 and again westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 18 to 10 inclusive, D.P. 35863, along a right line crossing Lot 22, to and westerly generally along the southern boundaries of Lots 9 to 4 inclusive, the eastern and southern boundaries to Lot 2, all of D.P. 35863, the southern boundaries of Lots 3 and 2, D.P. S. 4089, and Lot 21 (Esplanade Reserve), D.P. 35863, and the last-named boundary produced to the boundary of the Borough of Te Awamutu in the middle of the Mangahoi Stream; thence north-westerly generally along that borough boundary as described in Gazette 1925, page 14, to its intersection with the production westerly of the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 18196; thence along a right line crossing the Mangapiko Stream to the point of commencement.

ALL that piece of road containing 2 acres 2 roods 35 perches situated in Block I, Benger Survey District, and adjoining Sections 85 and 39 and passing through Sections 35 and 36; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4974 (S.O. 13040) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
