THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Geothermal Energy Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
authorises the Minister of Lands-
(i) To tap, take, use, and apply geothermal energy on
or under the land described in the Schedule hereto
for the purposes of the establishment and culture
of a tree nursery on the said land; and
(ii) To erect, construct, provide, and use such works
and appliances as may be necessary in connection
with the tapping, taking, use, and application of
geothermal energy for those purposes.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land comprising 46 acres, more or less,
being part Tauhara Middle No. 1 Block, being part of Section 1,
Block XIV, Tatua Survey District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4548
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

by section 2 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act
1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the closing of the portion of the street known as Asquith
Avenue in the Borough of Mount Albert, described in the
Schedule hereto; and hereby revokes the Order in Council
dated the 9th day of January 1962, and published in Gazette,
18 January 1962, No. 3, at page 36.

hara Rural Fire District and revokes the order constituting
that district made on the 20th day of December 1950 and pub-
lished in Gazette, 1951, Volume I, page 12.

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Tuwharetoa Rural Fire
District Order 1949, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read
together with and deemed part of the Tuwharetoa Rural Fire
District Order 1949* (hereinafter referred to as the principal
order). - The principal order may hereinafter be cited as the
Tuwharetoa Rural Fire District Order 1949. - The principal order is hereby amended by omitting the
Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule set out in the
Schedule to this Order. - The Order in Council amending the constitution of the
Tuwharetoa Rural Fire District published in the Gazette of
1956, Volume II, page 945, is hereby revoked.

"Tuwharetoa Rural Fire District
"All that area in Taupo and Taumarunui Counties containing
approximately 321,800 acres, situated in Puketapu, Karanga-
hape, Pukawa, Piopiotea, Maungaku, Puketi, Pihanga,
Waimanu, Tokaanu, Waitahanui, Omoho, Waiotaka, Kai-
manawa, and Mangamaire Survey Districts, and bounded
generally as follows: Towards the north-west by the shores
of Lake Taupo to the right bank of the Tauranga-Taupo River;
towards the north-east by the right bank of the Tauranga-Taupo
River to the westernmost corner of the Tauranga-Taupo No.
2A 2 Block; again towards the north-west to the south-western
boundaries of the Te Whataroa and Turutururoa Blocks;
towards the north-east by 3B 1A and 3B 2 Blocks; towards
the south-east by a right line from Trig. Station 1123
'Ahipaepae' to Trig. Station C 'Ngapuketurua', and thence by
Kaimanawa No. 2B and 2A Blocks; towards the south-west by
Kaimanawa No. 3B 2B Block; towards the south-east and
south by the Waipakihi River; towards the west by the right
bank of the Waikato River to its confluence with the Poutu
Stream; towards the south-east and south by the Poutu Stream
and the southern shore of Roto Aira; towards the east by
the Te One Stream; towards the south-west by the north-
