Land Taken for Better Utilisation in Block IV, Tuturau Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of March 1962.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Tuturau Survey District, Southland R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4243 (S.O. 6676) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Land and Easements Over Land Taken for Defence Purposes in Block II, Tryphena Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes; and I also proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity for herself, her servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees from time to time and at all times by day and by night to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses and domestic animals of any kind and with or without carriages, vehicles, motor vehicles, machinery, and implements of any kind, over and along the said land described in the Second Schedule; and I also proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, repair, and maintain lines of cables along, under, or over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto; and I also proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain water pipes along, under, or over the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, and to convey water through the said pipes to the first area of land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also declare that the aforesaid easements shall be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.

Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Wanganui Metropolitan Motorway in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estates in the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, held by the Wanganui Hospital Board under and by virtue of memoranda of lease Nos. 26284 and 26285, respectively, Wellington Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, held by Freeman R. Jackson and Co. Ltd., of Wanganui, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 26286, Wellington Land Registry, are hereby taken for the Wanganui Metropolitan Motorway.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 1·9 perches situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 7, D.P. 16786, being part Reserve “L”, Town of Wanganui; coloured yellow on plan.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 8·91 perches situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., being Lot 21, D.P. 16786, being part Reserve “L”, Town of Wanganui; coloured sepia on plan.

THIRD SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 13·3 perches situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 6, D.P. 16786, being part Reserve “L”, Town of Wanganui; coloured blue on plan.
