Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Riccarton Borough District Scheme: Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Riccarton Borough Council in the interests of the Riccarton Borough District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire, between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of March 1963 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of March 1963.

Revocation of Notice of Muriwai Beach Air Weapon Range

It is hereby notified that air to air firing, air bombing, and air to ground firing is no longer carried out in the areas known as the Muriwai Beach Air Weapon Range.
The notice published in Gazette, No. 38, 29 May 1952, page 949, is hereby revoked.

Declaration that Part of the Wairarapa Lake Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Wairarapa Lake Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.
