Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Pureora Rural Fire District Order 1949, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Pureora Rural Fire District Order 1949* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

The principal order may hereinafter be cited as the Pureora Rural Fire District Order 1949.

The principal order is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this order.

"SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICTโAUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
"Pureora Rural Fire District
"ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga, Waitomo, Taumarunui, and Taupo Counties, containing approximately 239,000 acres, situated in Mangaorongo, Wharepapa, Pakaumanu, Ranginui, Whakamaru, Ongarue, Hurakia, Marotiri, Tuhua, and Puketapu Survey Districts, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of Section 7, Block VII, Wharepapa Survey District; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 7 and 25, Block VII aforesaid; by the southern side of a right of way to the Taupaki Road; towards the north-east generally by the western boundary of the Taupaki Road to its junction with the Aotearoa Road; thence by the western boundary of the Aotearoa Road to its junction with the Mangawhio Road, and by the western boundary generally of the Mangawhio Road aforesaid to the eastern corner of Wharepuhunga part No. 19 Block; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Wharepuhunga part No. 19 Block aforesaid, the north-eastern boundary of Pouakani A 1A Block, and part northern boundary of Wharepuhunga part 17A to the boundary of provisional State forest No. 93 (Gazette, 1956, page 1375); towards the east generally by the boundary of provisional State forest aforesaid to its junction with the Waiteti Stream; thence by a right line to the northern corner of Pouakani part C 1A Block, and by the south-western boundary of Pouakani part No. 1 Block to its intersection with the Huiarau Stream; towards the south-east by the Huiarau Stream; thence by a right line from the head-waters of the last-mentioned stream to Trig. Station 1774, Titiraupenga; thence by Tihoi part No. 3 Block to Trig. Station 1390, Pureora; thence by the main range through Trig. Stations 2016, Weraroa, 2019, Tuhingamata, and 1389, Motere, to Trig. Station 1705, Tuhua; towards the south-west, west, and south, by Rangitoto-Tuhua 66A No. 1B, 1A, 3B, part 3c, and 3D Blocks to the Mangakahu Road, and by the northern boundary of the Mangakahu Road to the south-eastern corner of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 76 A 7 Block; thence by the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 76 A 7, A 6B, and A 6A Blocks, by the northern boundary of A 6A Block aforesaid, and by part northern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 76A 5 Block to the south-eastern corner of Rangi-toto-Tuhua No. 76 B 8A Block; thence towards the west by Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 76B 8A, B 8B 2D, B 8B 2E, and B 8B 2F Blocks; towards the north generally by Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 76B 6 Block, the Waione Stream, and by Lot 4 on D.P. 14777 being part of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 80B 1c 2 Block; towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 14777 aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 80B 2B; towards the north-west, and west by Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 80B 2B, 80B 2A, and part Lot 4 and Section 8, Block IX, Ongarue Survey District; thence by the southern boundary generally of the Kokomiko Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block X, Ongarue Survey District, to and across the Kokomiko Road, and by the eastern boundary of Section 9 aforesaid; thence by the southern boundary of Section 19, Block X, Ongarue Survey District; towards the west generally by the eastern boundaries of Sections 19 and 2, Block X, and Section 6, Block VI, Ongarue Survey District; thence by the southern bank of the Ongarue River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 54A 2 Block; thence by the north-eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 54A 2 Block aforesaid to Trig. Station 1394, Pukemako, by the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 36A 1B 2B 2B, 36A 1A 2, 36A 2c 1B, and 36A 2c 1A, and by the northern bank of the Waimiha River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Rangi-toto-Tuhua 36A 2A 2F Block; thence by the south-eastern boundaries generally of Rangitoto-Tuhua 36A 2A 2F and 36A 2A 2G Blocks; towards the south-west by 36A 2c 7 Block to the Waipa River; towards the south generally by the Waipa River and the northern side of the Waipa River Road; towards the south, west, and north-west by Sections 9, 8, and 7, Block XI, Pakaumanu Survey District, Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 25 No. 5B Block, and by the Okahukura Stream and Waipa River; towards the north-west generally by Rangitoto A No. 41, A No. 48B 2A 1, A No. 48B 2A 2, and A No. 48B 2B 1 Blocks, Section 1, Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, Rangitoto A No. 19 Block, Lots 3, 4, 5, and 6 on D.P. 11787, being formerly part of Rangitoto-Tuhua A No. 18A 2c Block, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 14 and 15, Block XII, Mangaorongo Survey District; towards the south-west by the northern side of a road; towards the west generally by Sections 13, 11, and Lot 1, D.P. 9874, being formerly part Rangitoto A No. 18B 2 Block, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 22, Block XII, Mangaorongo Survey District, to and across a road, and by the eastern side of that road aforesaid to the south-western corner of Section 30, Block V, Wharepapa Survey District; thence by the south-eastern boundaries generally of Sections 30, and part 26, Block V, Wharepapa Survey District; towards the north-east by the Mangatutu River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Section 10, Block V, Wharepapa Survey District; thence by the south-eastern boundary of part Section 10, aforesaid, to its junction with a road; towards the east generally by the western side of the afore-mentioned road to its junction with the southern boundary of Section 16, Block IX, Wharepapa Survey District; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 16, Block IX, and 16, Block X, Whare-papa Survey District; towards the west generally by the eastern side of the Ngaroma Road; towards the north-west by Sections 14, Block VI, and 28 Block VII, to the intersection with Section 7, Block VII, Wharepapa Survey District; thence towards the north-east by the south-western boundary of Section 7 aforesaid, to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 45/34 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red."

Authorising the Waitemata County Council to Reclaim Land at Wade River

THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitemata County Council to reclaim from the sea at Wade River the land coloured yellow on plan marked M.D. 11164 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the licence of the 30th day of April 1952* authorising the Mahurangi Boating Club to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low water mark at Warkworth in Mahurangi River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9307 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of constructing a slipway thereon.
