Boundaries of County of Matamata and County of Piako Altered

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 19th day of February 1962
Present:
THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
- On and from the 1st day of April 1962 the area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Matamata and included in the County of Piako.
- The alteration of the boundaries of the said counties hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Counties Act 1956.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, in Matamata County, containing approximately 4,800 acres, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 5, Block III, Cambridge Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly and south-easterly along the boundary of Piako County as described in Gazette, 1958, page 1265, to the middle of the Mangapapa Stream in Block V, Tapapa Survey District; thence southerly generally up the middle of the Mangapapa Stream aforesaid to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to and along that eastern boundary, to and westerly generally along the generally southern boundary of Section 4 (Scenic Reserve), Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District, to the point of commencement.

Pursuant to section 5 of the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Tauranga Aerodrome Order 1962.
- Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Tauranga Borough Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto.
- The Tauranga Aerodrome Order 1961 is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
ALL that land comprising 222 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, being parts Omanu Block No. 1, 2A No. 1, 2B No. 1, 2B No. 2, 2B No. 3, and western part of Ohuki Block 1c No. 1 Block and Whareroa Block 2A 2 and parts Whareroa Block No. 2F and No. 2G 1B 4 situated in Blocks VII and IX, Tauranga Survey District.

Pursuant to the Electoral Act 1956, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby abolish all existing polling places in the Electoral District of Waitaki, and hereby appoint the places mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be polling places for the said electoral district.
