Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for Better Utilisation in the City of Wanganui

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the First Schedule hereto, held by Frank Noel Dew, of Wanganui, compositor under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 27385, Wellington Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held by Geoffrey Colin Greaves, of Wanganui, retired, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 481509, Wellington Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, held by Albert John Eales, of Wanganui, post and telegraph clerk, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 27539, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, held by Bruce Trevor Ireton, of Wanganui, salesman, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 27541, Wellington Land Registry, are hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of February 1962.

ALL that piece of land containing 28·84 perches situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 17, D.P. 19090, being part Reserve “L”, Town of Wanganui. All certificate of title, Volume 794, folio 87, Wellington Land Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND REGISTRY

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 33, Deeds Plan 304, being part Reserve “L”, Town of Wanganui. All certificate of title, Volume 477, folio 167, Wellington Land Registry (limited as to parcels).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of February 1962.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with, as to the land eighty described, the right of way created in and by Proclamation No. 359509, Canterbury Land Registry, for the Downlands Water-Supply Scheme and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Levels as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of February 1962.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of February 1962.

ALL that piece of land containing 0·2 of a perch situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., being part Section 14, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4533 (S.O. 21118) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
