From the southern boundary of Foxton Borough to the northern end of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway at Porirua.
From the southern end of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway at Johnsonville to the north-eastern boundary of Wellington City near Ngauranga.
From the southern boundary of Picton Borough to the southern boundary of Awatere County.
From the junction with the No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass) at Waipara to the northern end of the Dunedin-Waitati Motorway at Waitati.

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne):
From the southern boundary of Napier City to the north-eastern boundary of Hastings City.
From the southern boundary of Woodville Borough to the junction with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) at Ngauranga.
No. 6 State highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth):
From the western boundary of Blenheim Borough to Charleston.
From Kararoa Creek (12 Mile) to Rapahoe.
From Hawea Dam to the junction with the Kingston Road.
From the southern boundary of Lumsden Town District to the northern boundary of Invercargill City.
No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass):
From Garvey Creek to the junction with the No. 69 State Highway (Inangahua-Reefton) at Reefton.
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton):
From the junction with the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) 3 miles south of Lowburn to the western boundary of Cromwell Borough.
From Roxburgh Hydro to the junction with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) near Clarksville.
No. 20 State Highway (Onehunga-Redoubt Road):
From the southern boundary of Papatoetoe Borough to the junction with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) at Redoubt Road.
No. 57 State Highway (Levin-Palmerston North via Shannon):
From the eastern boundary of Levin Borough to the south-eastern boundary of Palmerston North City.
No. 58 State Highway (Haywards-Paremata).
No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood).
No. 61 State Highway (Motueka-Motupiko).

From the western boundary of Westport Borough to the junction with the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) at 4 Mile Junction.

From the junction with the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) at Inangahua Junction to the Inangahua Railway Station Road.
From the junction with Gannon Road to the junction with the No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass) at Reefton.
No. 72 State Highway (Woodend-Winchester):
From the junction with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) at Woodend to the Oxford Post Office.
No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara):
From the junction with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) near Riccarton to the No. 1 Kowai Bridge.
No. 83 State Highway (Pukenui-Omarama).
No. 87 State Highway (Mosgiel-Kyeburn):
From the junction with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the south-eastern boundary of Mosgiel Borough.
No. 94 State Highway (Gore-Milford Sound):
From the north-western boundary of Gore Borough to the south-eastern boundary of Lumsden Town District.
No. 99 State Highway (Invercargill-Tuatapere):
From the junction with the No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) at Lorne to the north-eastern boundary of Riverton Borough.

From the southern boundary of Rodney County to the junction with the Wellsford - Port Albert Road 2 miles from Wellsford.

No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara):
From the Pegleg Creek Bridge to the Otira Post Office.

Special Order Made by Cook County Council Altering Riding Boundaries
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Cook County Council.
Dated at Wellington this 19th day of December 1961.

SPECIAL ORDER
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 23 of the Counties Act 1956, the Cook County Council hereby resolves by way of special order:
"(1) That the boundaries of the Waingake Riding in the County of Cook be altered by excluding from the limits thereof the lands more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.
"(2) That the boundaries of the Muriwai Riding in the County of Cook be altered by including within the limits thereof the lands more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.
"(3) That this special order shall take effect as from and including the 1st day of April 1962."

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT, COOK COUNTY
ALL that piece of land containing 392 acres, more or less, situated in Block XII, Patutahi Survey District, being Section 12 (Te Arai Settlement) and the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 73, folio 74 (Gisborne Registry).
