the Amuri County Council on the 3rd day of November 1961.

RESOLUTION

THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section
22 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Amuri County Council
assume responsibility for the administration of the said Act
within the County of Amuri from the 1st day of April 1962.

Hawke's Bay Education Board—Election of Member

PURSUANT to the Education Act 1914, it is hereby notified that
one nomination only, that of Douglas Arthur Kirkham, was
received to fill the extraordinary vacancy in the No. 1 East
Coast Ward of the Education Board of the district of
Hawke’s Bay caused by the resignation of Dr D. I. Sinclair.

I hereby declare Douglas Arthur Kirkham duly elected
to fill the vacancy mentioned above.

Classification of State Highways

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regu-
lations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport, as required by
the National Roads Board, hereby revokes all warrants and
portions of warrants which refer to the classification of the
roads described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby
declares that the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto
shall belong to the classes as set out in the said Second
Schedule.
