Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Waitemata County Council (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Waitemata County Council in the interests of the Waitemata County district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1963 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of February 1963.

Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of Vermiculite Industries (N.Z.) Ltd., a duly incorporated Company having its Registered Office at Auckland, Over Land in the Borough of Ellerslie Taken for Better Utilisation, Assented to

Whereas by a Proclamation dated the 28th day of January 1960 and published in the Gazette, 4 February 1960, Volume I, page 120, all that piece of land comprising 3 roods 7·3 perches, being Lots 15 and 16, D.P. 20143, balance certificate of title, Volume 606, folio 286, and all certificate of title, Volume 994, folio 138, Auckland Land Registry, was taken for better utilisation:

And whereas Vermiculite Industries (N.Z.) Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland, is entitled to compensation in respect of the said land:

And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said Vermiculite Industries (N.Z.) Ltd. a right of way over the land described in the Schedule hereto in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid:

And whereas the said Vermiculite Industries (N.Z.) Ltd. has agreed to accept such grant of right of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation:

Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing approximately 15·5 perches situated in the Borough of Ellerslie, Auckland R.D., and being that portion of Allotment 172, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, adjoining the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 171, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, and having a uniform width of approximately 30·3 links.

Declaration That a Reserve be the Aratapu Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Aratapu Domain.
