PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1961, £20,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and any amendments thereto, the Paparua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £20,000, to be known as the Rural Housing Loan 1961, authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Paparua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0201d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) on all rateable properties comprised within the boundaries of the Paparua County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of up to 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workers Housing Loan 1960, £3,000
THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the purchase of land and the erection of one worker’s dwelling thereon, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ·04 pence (point zero four pence) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Bay of Islands; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Bay of Islands was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Bay of Islands County Council in the presence of—

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council, situated at Tirau, and is there open for inspection.
All persons affected by the taking of the said land who have any well grounded objections thereto must state the same in writing and lodge the same at the office of the County Clerk within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Newlands Road in the City of Wellington; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work; namely, river control work on the Waimea River; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Board, situate at No. 290 Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Board at its offices, No. 290 Trafalgar Street, Nelson.
