Note of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 269 of the Companies Act 1955, that, by special resolution, the members of this company resolved, on the 1st day of December 1961 (by entry in the minute book pursuant to section 362 of the Act), inter alia, as follows:
“That the company be wound up voluntarily by the members (a statutory declaration of solvency having been filed).”

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Maihiihi Foodmarket Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 1 Roche Street, Te Awamutu.
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 6th day of December 1961, presented to the said Court by Burgess Fraser and Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 18-20 Currie Street, New Plymouth, and carrying on business there and elsewhere as merchants; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Hamilton on the 16th day of February 1962 at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Taupo Haulage Ltd. (in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of Taupo Haulage Ltd. (in liquidation) will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1958, at the offices of R. H. LePine and Co., Solicitors, Heu Heu Street, Taupo, on Friday, the 15th day of December 1961, at 10 a.m. at which meeting a full statement of the affairs of the company, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company in place of the official assignee, the duly appointed provisional liquidator, pursuant to section 362 (9) of the said Act and in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

(in receivership) will be held on the 19th day of December 1961 at which a resolution for winding up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Jaycee Rooms, Perry Street, Masterton, on Tuesday, the 19th day of December 1961, at 2.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Buller Agricultural Lime Co. Ltd.
NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held on the 8th day of December 1961, the following special resolutions were passed:
“(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“(2) That Mr William Edgar Leslie Gay, of Westport, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distributing the assets.”

ALEXANDRA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council for the purpose of purchasing a dwelling for use by a staff member, the said Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three-sixteenths of a penny (3/16d.) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Alexandra; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
