subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct,
put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the
Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall
    form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
    be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), and (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1982, or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from a pole situated in Section 9 and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to another pole situated in Section 4, and thence:
(a) In a north-easterly direction to a bunk house situated in Section 4.
(b) Generally in a south-easterly direction across a road to a house situated in Section 3.
All being situated in Ruatahuna Township, Block IX, Ruatahuna Survey District, in the County of Whakatane; the said lines being more particularly shown by means of red and black lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 578 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Waikato Savings Bank Order 1959, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Waikato Savings Bank Order 1959* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).
  2. Clause 11 of the principal order (as substituted by clause 2 of the Waikato Savings Bank Order 1959, Amendment No. 1) is hereby amended by inserting in paragraph (b), after the words "exceeds £1,000,000" where they first occur, the words "but does not exceed £2,000,000".
  3. Clause 11 of the principal order (as so substituted) is hereby further amended by inserting, after paragraph (b), the following paragraph:
    "(bb) Where the total amount of the money so deposited exceeds £2,000,000, not less than £700,000 thereof together with not less than 50 per cent of so much thereof as exceeds £1,000,000 shall be invested in New Zealand Government securities:"

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Otatara-Wallacetown Rabbit District Order 1961.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Otatara-Wallacetown Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 9th day of July 1941,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE OTATARA-WALLACETOWN RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing 60,540 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams and bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of the Kingston Branch Railway at its intersection with the left bank of the Waihopai River; thence northerly and westerly along that eastern side of the said Kingston Branch Railway and the northern side of the Tuatapere Branch Railway to the right bank of the Oreti River; thence south-westerly generally along the right bank of the Oreti River to a point in line with the southern side of No. 99 State Highway; thence north-westerly generally to and along the south-western side of the said State highway to the left bank of the Waimatuku Stream; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the left bank of the Waimatuku Stream and the sea coast to the western boundary of Section 5, Block XXIII, Invercargill Hundred; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said Section 5 and that boundary produced to the northern boundary of Section 70, Block V, Campbelltown Hundred; thence westerly generally along that boundary to the shore of the New River Harbour; thence easterly generally along the shore to the Mokomoko Inlet; thence easterly generally along the shore of the Mokomoko Inlet to the New River Harbour; thence easterly and northerly along the shore of the New River Harbour to the left bank of the Waihopai River; thence northerly along that bank to the point of commencement.
