Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August
1949 and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Vol. II, page
1625, by deleting "Director, Grasslands Division, Department
of Scientific and Industrial Research, Palmerston North", and
substituting "Senior Pedologist, Soil Bureau, Department of
Scientific and Industrial Research, Palmerston North".

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Maioro Street in
the City of Auckland, Subject to a Condition as to the
Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations
Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby author-
ises the Auckland City Council to permit the laying off of the
proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width
for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than
40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of
a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 10, 11, 12,
13, 19, 20, and 21 of a subdivision of the land shown edged
green on the plan marked M.O.W. 3935 referred to in the
Schedule hereto within a distance of 15 ft from the side line
of the said street.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
THAT proposed street in the City of Auckland containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 4·5 perches, more or less, being
part Lot 8, D.P. 131, being part Allotment 66, Parish of
Titiwangi; as the same is more particularly delineated on

Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Hamilton and be under the control and management of the
Hamilton City Council.
